Hi all

I'm trying to copy the below image using pencils. Problem is, I can't seem to get the dimensions right on an a4 size paper. I always get the chest or arms too big. I'm on my third attempt.

With an image like this, where should i start? Tips and advice please!

I'm only using the image on the right, no interest in the rear view

 

So someone thumbs up my post but doesn't bother to offer advice? Thought this was a forum -_-

 

Just so you know I'm going to color this as Megatron and PE Blitzwing and maybe M. Bison.

 

You might want to use the grid method:
How Grid Drawing Can Help You Copy Images Accurately

Where you might run into issues is that the perspective on the limbs is off, like you'd barely see the underside of some surfaces if you were to draw them separately, so using vanishing points might not help here. Plus some of the surfaces are curved, which makes the use of vanishing points harder if not redundant.
