I saw this linked on another forumI'm on, and I figured here would have better quality scans.

    I was right, of course.

I so enjoy Dreadwind, such a fun character, and this is an interesting way to explain his "friendship" with Darkwing.

That comic was badass. You should definately make more, it'd be a great treat. I'd like to see one covering Getaway.

Is that Spinister and Needlenose I see sitting beside Dreadwind in Maccadam's Old Oil House?

Very good work. Good writing and text editing: characterizations and texts were original, character choices suitable and non-standard, well timed and well written, plot works well and balloons don't get in the way of the art.

And good art: consistent quality, though here and there a few bits where I think something was forgotten to be coloured, like the gunbarrel nozzle flares in one of the first pages. Only a few minor panel things that could possibly have been better storytellingwise (as I had to track back for just a few panels: the 'accidental' shot), but they all could be traced back from the context of the next panels easily. :)  Despite the small amount of actual scenery detailing in the majority of panels, the panels work well and settings are easily distinguishable from one another, some even seem fuller than they are, while all are easily readible, in great part thanks to the colouring I think.

Overall a very enjoyable read and my congrats on an excellent team effort! :)

I just read it again - and again, I enjoyed it. I want to see more - the *masters are too obscure in this part of the world. They need more lime (or spot)lights!

Hey, cool, I didn't realize that this thread had recently revived itself again. I'm excited to see that more people are still discovering this comic and finding the chance to read it for the first (and in some cases, second) time! As always, thank you all for taking the time to check it out and for your comments!

Funny you should mention Getaway. At the moment, I've got about six or seven other ideas rattling around in my head for similar stories, and one of them does indeed involve the Autobots' resident escape artist (but to be fair, it's just in a supporting role, as the story itself actually focuses on Skids). Unfortunately, as I've previously mentioned, making this comic was a very expensive undertaking, and I don't know how long it'd be before I'd have the funds be able to do something like this again.

Yup! And although they, along with Maccadam himself, were all specifically called for in the script, I have to give credit to Mike for having Grimlock and Brawn arm wrestling, Acid Storm passed out from too much booze, and Repugnus grumpily drinking by himself.

Thank you so much for such a detailed evaluation! I really appreciate it! One thing I would like to mention is that, if it seems like any of the coloring was forgotten, that's because we were way behind schedule when we were finally able to send the finished line art to Minttu to be colored. To my astonishment, she managed to color the entire comic in a matter of mere days, single-handedly putting us back on schedule. As it is, I absolutely love the coloring job she did, but I can only imagine how much even more amazing it would've looked had we been able to give her a more reasonable amount of time to work on it. I cannot say enough good about her talent, professionalism, and work ethic, and if it hadn't been for her, we might not have gotten the comic finished in time for Botcon. Therefore, if there are any small bits where the coloring seems a little bit rushed, I'm willing to accept full blame for that, and I will continue to whole-heartedly praise and thank Minttu for all her hard work on this project.
    :)

And to everyone else who have commented on this comic, thank you all! Your feedback means a lot!
