Perhaps FT and XTB might take a swing at these. There's a lot there to draw from and I feel the fanbase for them wouldn't necessarily be as picky as TF's. I feel KFC's Cykill was pretty well done. I can only imagine what the rest of them could be like if they were given the MP treatment. Sadly as a kid, the only one I ever owned was the submarine.

The question would be, do they keep their transformations simplistic like the originals, or do they upscale and complicate them like they have G1 bots?

Haha welcome to this thread, it's an adventure here. And honestly you know as much as everybody else already. As for price, expect to hear a lot of "they said under a thousand" and a lot of "there's no way they can do this for under a thousand." Other popular sentiments include "this looks awesome, can't wait to see it for real" and "yeah this is never coming out."

 

honestly i'm more excited to see how the box looks than the figure finished. that is going to be tough to ship. mailman is gonna have a hard time

 

I think the general consensus is that the gentleman that is LikeToys, made this for himself, and that the Lionel Hutz guy from the Facebook group was trying to say that this was going to be for sale and that he was a part of LikeToys. It came out that all Lionel Hutz is, is a middle man that buys the figures from LikeToys for other people, like a Taobao agent. Bottom line is, I think this is just a one off. There are videos on YouTube of him putting it together and transforming it. It actually looks really cool.

 

Lionel Hutz is a cool guy with an even cooler car. That's what really matters.

It's still all just 3D printed. I see nothing that looks like there's any work done to prep it for injection molding.
