My Blaster's face has eyes. The helmet has the visor.

 

I don’t have Blaster or Soundwave, & didn’t think Sixshot would fit but here he is with (Hasbro) Overlord, Sky Shadow, Quickswitch & as a bonus to everyone else, Godbomber.

Ironically (or not for you, sorry C16!) Godbomber actually looks the best, his colours match well & if anyone is keeping their God Ginrai set in fully combined robot mode Godbomber’s head would be going spare anyway.

Just a heads up (no pun intended  ) but I didn’t lower Dai Atlas’ helmet ‘all’ the way down, as his regular face is set much lower down than most other faces. It’s really minor (like US Sixshot’s helmet, otherwise his eyes are partly covered) but I wanted to be honest.

I don't know that either would actually work well for Dai Atlas, but they both have faces that *could* work, at least.
As other posters have said, God Bomber is probably the best.

 

I think the Overlord head has the best chance to look good in there.

I totally agree.. Titans Return was definitely the pinnacle of recent Transformers toys. The peak before that was when Springer came out. We will always have peaks and valleys. So yeah, the more TR toys, the better for me. I can't wait for the 1988 Headmasters to get represented in full figures!

 

I’m aware that the odds of it happening are about the same as pigs suddenly sprouting wings, but if Hasbro decides to sell the Big Powered set themselves, what if they give Dai Atlas a leader-sized Headmaster?

I thought the recent head business wasn’t such a big deal, but then the recent images of DA having heads from other Leaders made me think his own head does seem on the small side...

 

Well...probably not. If Hasbro were to distribute Big Powered, it'd be the LG EX version as an import - with nothing changed.

 

The original used batteries & had working tank treads. This one doesn't. So we really can't strictly adhere to the original. Takara stuck a useless chain in his waist that is totally useless & unnecessary. Did the original have a floppy chain in his waist?

If Takara wants to cut cots by retooling a pre-existing mold then this isn't the way to do that. How much money did they waste designing & producing this totally pointless & stupid feature?

And why would anybody want a jet or spaceship flying around with the transport crawler attached? Imagine the space shuttle taking off with the crawler/launch pad still attached.

Well, anyway, I fixed my figure. I'm happy it can separate. Now I just need to attach Roadfire's cannon to the tank somehow & fill in his legs.

What exactly is the design intent? They added a floppy chain to the waist that is not necessary in any mode. It doesn't serve any purpose except to make it impossible to separate the jet from the crawler. It's a hindrance instead of an upgrade. They took a step backwards. I can't figure out what the hell they were thinking. I honestly would love to know.

And mine still transforms into all modes. Nothing inhibits it from forming Big Powered or the base.

Far, far less than they would have spent designing a mold ground the ground up. Separating the "vehicles" is utterly pointless. It's just "a" vehicle now. The same vehicle he was before.

You're just trying to retain a play feature from a previous use of this figure that has no purpose on this one. Stay cringy.

Again, you are coming at this from a different angle. It seems TT was trying to preserve elements of the original as much as they could. You want your toy to separate like the TR molds they are based on. You ruined their idea but you walk away happy with your mod. Kuddos to you. Many of the rest of us will just be happy with the figure as it was intended to be presented where the figure doesn't separate since that's not what the original character did.

Can't wait to get this in my hands. Big Powered has been sitting in my pol at bbts for a while now. Waiting on Generations Select Red Swoop & Richochet to drop so I can hit ship. Hurry the hell up bbts! I need my Big Powered dammit!!!  

 

Hmm..looking back..Imo no eye color swap is necessary as the OG Dai Atlas toy's optics were red as well. Lol. Somebody have a spare TR Overlord HM to sell me?
