Even with the issues, I still think this is a fantastic toy. Honestly the faults I have with it actually lie more with Ginrai than Godbomber.

We don't have official confirmation if Godbomber's coming to the states. The popular theory is that considering Super Ginrai is appearing in the BBTS exclusive Titans Return boxset as Magnus Prime, Godbomber may appear in a currently unannounced boxset that involves the Fireblast tech spec as Iron Apex.

No joints have been tightened, will probably still do that though. Not tried the fan configuration for the backpack either

Thanks for the photos to help support my description. And also, you added the portion that I didn't mention which I used, too, which was to lower the internal ankles. This enabled the red heel tab to secure tighter to the back of the leg and to lessen the room between the two parts on the joint. I just need to tighten the screws like you suggested. And I need to try the modified version and see if I like the backpack mess it leaves in order for the G1 look versus the current nice clean back with high shoulder wings look.

No, it doesn't get rid of the ankle tilt, surprisingly. This method keeps the joint that goes forward and back for Ginrai from flopping backward due to the weight up top when combined with God Bomber. The lateral ankle articulation is still there for God Ginrai, which means you can still articulate God Ginrai's foot sideways. I don't believe God Ginrai needs forward/backward ankle articulation nor does it seem like he's supposed to have it either. Think of his ankle area as having 2 separate joints, and we basically fused one of set of the ankle joints while leaving the other one untouched.

Just shipped my pile of loot! Considered waiting until end of July when siege on cybertron comes in but I'm willing to pay the $9 extra in shipping to have my loot 2 months earlier than if I wait.

You mean to say the trailer leg of suoergibrai will sit on the front blue tab and the red rear tab?

I notice the front blue tab is slightly higher and it will make godginrai have more tendency to lean backwards. What do you think?

Okay the blue piece may not necessarily sit well on the trailer but lowering the internal ankle does help to stabilise the whole thing.

You have to adjust to get the angle right. Abit of trial and error here.

In whole, the Godbomber figure is a great partsformer with a nice robot mode. arm joints are abit loose but managable and the feets are firm.

The loose sword or shoulder cannon are minor stuff which I'm not too bothered but the combined ankles are the true bearbug of this toy. Luckily there are fixes for that.

In all, this toy is not for trash playing but okay for posing and display.

There's no partsforming to get him from trailer to robot, other than placing the "Titan Master", helmet and shoulder cannon. As you probably already know though, God armor is almost completely partsforming.

Thanks for the pic. It makes such a big difference in stability and filling in the gap that I almost wonder if it was intentional and the instructions guy messed up. (It happens frequently enough with Hasbro, so it seems like Takara Tomy would be due.)
