Actually, I've complained before about the headmaster gimmick and I'll do so again. Perhaps, right now, those that want an actual, proper "Powermaster OP with Power-Bomber" are waiting for one of the third party companies to do so?

 

If they make a Fire Guts version, I'll jump at it and use it as Ginrai so I don't have 2 red and blue Optimi of the same base mold on my shelf.

I agree. Especially the tape decks and the new perceptor. The fact that they're tape decks and a microscope is a problem but that's beyond the scope of this thread.

 

This has probably been said but i'm starting to get the feeling the strenght speed sets will be online boxsets of takara legends releases hasbro doesnt want to release at retail in continuation and expansiin of the may mayhem releases.

 

Finally broke down and put in an order for ginrai :/ hopefully iron apex will be unveiled soon so those that don't want to shell out for ginrai can have an educated choice

This amounts to "he tell me". Overlords mold share is already claimed so the quota there is met. Not saying it's impossible but the only thing pointing to star saber is speculation

 

That's how he always was in the Masterforce cartoon. So he's not a Magazord. A Megazord is him.

 

I'm not saying he'll use the Overlord mold, just saying between that and Liokaiser...Hasbro is tapping into characters from the later Japanese series.

Trends suggest he's coming. It's no guarantee, but it's all but guaranteed.

 

i agree its likely, i was just trying to point out that theres no confirmation of a star saber coming. there are so many figures out this year and last that i never thought id be able to get and i hope they keep pumping out the more obscure characters

 

Yeah, I'm in that boat. I already have PMOP so I want to see Iron Apex before I pull the trigger on Legends Ginrai. I hope Ginrai and God Bomber don't sell out before Iron Apex is revealed.

I know it's a gamble, but I have to wait. I got burned on Super God Ginrai already. I bought a complete vintage one about a year before Takara reissued him. Then Hasbro released him in the US. If by chance, Hasbro's Iron Apex looks as good as Takara's God Bomber, then I won't even care that PMOP looks different than Ginrai because he'll be covered in armor anyway.

 

i went ahead and snagged a preorder for ginrai at bbts while he's still listed. if hasbro shows off iron apex within the month and he looks good i'll happily cancel my ginrai and godbomber orders

 

Just looks like powermaster Prime Cosplaying as something else.

Giant Platform shoes. Sticking Cardbord Gloves. etc.

Just feels like they are trying to hard is all.

Looks okay for what it is, I guess.

Btw. that ankle is the obvious weakest point on Ginrai. so... how is adding giant platform shoes under his weak ankle shoes going to help?

 

Godbomber looks great, and the way he combines with Super Ginrai is very true to the Masterforce cartoon. I'm all in for one!

It's probably the Iron Bomber that's going to be in one of those big 5 packs out next year that was rumoured.
