Anyone know if the one that turns into Bumblebee's double-barreled cannon will be released?

 

No knowledge outside of the one that actually comes with 'Bee, and the "Shining" version. But god, I hope so. I want 'em, but I DON'T want to drop $30-$40 for ANOTHER PRIDE Bee mold, just so I can get the Minicon.

Having just assembled 3 minicons (Breakdown, Vehicon, Air Vehicon) I can say this. The bot modes are lame, the weapons are cool and the build factor has a fun factor of a million.

I can value them for their building fun but thats as far as it goes.

 

Sorry I've missed some of the combined mode names so I'm not sure what you're referring to...are you referring to a version of Breakdown's partner (Zamu) or are you referring to some combination of the microns which includes Zamu? Or something else?

Heheh, true. Once I ship my PoL (probably mid-to-late September, depends on when MonsterArts King Ghidorah) I'll be able to attempt it. Though I have almost all of the different minicon molds in hand, I don't have all of the different types in hand since the normal Balo, R.A., Zamu and Igu are there. Hopefully in a month's time I'll be able to create Micronastator.

So, ordered some more Arms Microns.

Originally ordered Butcherbird and Croc-et Launcher, because the one that turned from... not-really-an-animal to not-really-a-weapon didn't interest me, but now I'm going to get him to complete the Dark Matter Calibur.

... and I liked the two I have so much I also ordered the Arcee Sword and Turtle Shield because they look neat. Megatron-gun was tempting and thematically appropriate, but... meh. And the Bulkhead knuckle looked AWESOME in theory but the color would look terrible with pretty much any figure I own.

Might look okay with Kup except... I don't own him.

 

I agree on the "not-really-a-weapon" part, but the horseshoe crab is a real animal.

 

Oh, I know it is. My point is more "it's not really that horseshoe crab-y."

Similarly, I don't like Vehicon's minicon who turns from a gun to a gun-with-legs.

 

I agree with this thoroughly. Even if I squint I can't see "boar". The chameleon with the Jet Vehicon, on the other hand, is awesome.

 

I've been thinking about buying several of these to have Minicons for my TFs.

I am so tempted by this...

 

Honestly, it's the best price we've been able to get any of the Minicons at (North America, that is). I have no question I'm jumping on both of those. Ten Minicons for $50USD+Shipping >/= $5USD PER MINICON!

The lowest prices seem to be the $8 BBTS mark, and that extra $2.99/$3 builds up quick when buying others; although the $7.99/ea price seems to be the only way I can get the three Shield guys.

 

Quick question: Do the Minicons come with insignia painted on? Actually, now that I think about it, it's probably a sticker if they have one, isn't it?

 

Nothing on Arcee's blade, Zamu, or Hades?
