The strike Freedom is a beautiful model, one of my first MG's and still my favorite, my Titan is growing on me, and the Red Frame Astray is one helluva fun build.

Just because I don't feel like digging through a bunch of pages, are the 30th anniv kits just reissues of older MG ones? I'm beginning to get back into Gundam stuff.

Yah, they're exactly the same as the first versions, you won't miss out on anything buying the ones with the clear parts.

Building my Real Grade RX78 right now...I only have the foot made and already I'm throughly impressed by this guy.

I might buy the Char's Zaku 2 now as well.

Indeed. The Real Grade is VERY impressive. But also feels a bit too fiddly/fragile once completed.

I knew there was reason why I'm treating this kit like a ticking time bomb LOL

While I was in Hong Kong I spoke to a shop keeper who relayed that some people had broken the RG's legs while making it so be extra careful there. Also - getting the inner skeleton off the sprues is a pain.

Yeah, I saw Dalong's photo gallery: His leg had stress marks.

Love it Squee. Nice metallic finish. I know those are difficult to do. Looking forward to seeing it finished. I just love the idea of Char driving a Ball MS.

Hey, what scale are your Zaku II and RX-78-2 (the ones are the back)?

Yessir. My Gundam, Gundam MK II, and Zaku II-S are all PG 1/60 models. Everything else there is an MG

How was the MKII build? I'm very tempted to pick up the titans version.

PG MkII is hella fun. Not as intense as some other PG's, but I had fun with it.

It's a great build, though the MG 2.0 model of it is way nicer in terms of articulation and proportions. But if it's detail you want, the PG won't do you wrong

Damn. I did a better job taking my RG's frame of the sprues than he did. My RG had no stress marks anywhere when I took it off the sprues and has none now, and it's fallen off of a desk.
