Wow. Now the price really makes sense and you're getting more than you expect.

Is this available for preorder at any reputable site? I see that preorders are sold out at Gundamit.

Web Shop - Zeonmarket does offer it through their facebook site but it *IS* a dutch webstore which is easier for me. so YMMV.

Went astray from Astray Red Frames last night and this morning to do some updated photography of the other two Astray frames in more dynamic poses.

    20240120_110245.jpg

First thing out of the way, I painted the clear stand for Gold Frame with Turn Signal Amber. Giving it an appropriately colored stand like its siblings.

    20240120_131609.jpg

One thing I discovered the fun way was the heavy lacquer topcoat I applied on Gold Frame had nearly frozen the left (advanced joint) hip and I disarticulated the leg. Nothing was broken but it could have been worse.

Blue Frame's revised paintjob is more noticeable from the back.

    20240119_205727.jpg

It's just a little extra blue on the elbows and skirt tail while everything else painted happened during Blue Frame's construction.

    20240119_205839.jpg

When I first built the kit, I used a mix of mine but for the touch ups I used Mr Hobby "Gundam Blue." ...kind of wish I had that from the beginning.

Anyway.. I'll be back on the Red Frames later.

YES! Todays arrivals! HG RC Phenex Destroy Mode and HG Banshee Norn Titanium Finish! The HG Reguild Century Phenex has been a holy grail of mine since I got into gunpla a whopping three months ago. :lol

Collection goals! Since you're close to half of the total number of HG Rx-0 frames, are you thinking about building one in another grade and scale?

    IDK…

    Currently I have
    711 Unicorn
    Full Armor Unicorn(red psycho IIRC)
    Destroy Phenex Narrative ver.
    Banshee Norn
    Metallic Injection Unicorn
    Titaniun Finish Unicorn Destroy
Titanium Finish Banshee Norn Destory Mode(there also exist TF Unicorn mode)
    Full Perfectibility Furuoka Red ver
2 Full Perfect normal ver on preorder
    RC Phenex

And I’m still missing quite a few. I would like to get the giftset of the Phenex in both gold and silver chrome, the translucent Phenex, and of course the Unicorn modes. Regular Banshee Destroy mode(multiple because I’d like to make a Full Perfectibility Banshee), and maybe a few of the corperate brand versions.

I need to actually build the rest of the ones I own, first. :lol  Although I have heard bad things about the MG, so if I get another grade I might skip straight to PG.

Hm I don’t see the product there. Do they ship to the US? I also asked Frank if Gundamit will get more preorder stock.

Reorganizing and rummaging the backlog, I dusted off the RG Gundam MkII (AEUG color) and was looking over it for a bit tonight.

    20240120_210148.jpg

It's one of those "Round to It" kits I dabble with every now and then, and I finally had an idea on how I would detail paint it.

    20240120_212725.jpg

I popped open the jar of orange-yellow I whipped for the RG Nu and painted the recessed panels on the upper half of the shield. Those are supposed to be yellow, but the kit uses a gold foil decal. Then I kept going on the other recesses on the armor. I wanted to invoke some of the "Advance of Z" style of hardpoints and moving panels.

With that itch scratched, I might as well work on it between the next grade of Astray.

Back on the Red Frame, a little ...finger painting.

    20240120_223039.jpg

The white knuckles are mostly done, some clean up to do, but the articulated fingers still need another coat. From there, everything gets a dab with panel line accent.

The old clunker that was the MG Gundam GP01 "Zephyranthes", meeting its newest Robot Spirits figure counterpart:

The saying "Well that escalated quickly......" May be applicable here. IMG_20240121_164210.jpg

Completing both in a day I'm putting down to initial-burst-of-enthusiasm syndrome. Despite the limits on the knee articulation (making an assumption that MG and above does articulation better?) These look pretty nice and will certainly help to fill out a crowd with my Robot Damashis.

Inspired by above I think I'll be looking into a GelgoogF or J next........
