Been multitasking a bit, airbrushing on the RE/100 Efreet Schneid, building and detailing the MG Char's Z'Gok and dragging my afterburners through the waterslides on the MG Victory Gundam Ver.Ka. IMG_20210929_022456_1.jpg IMG_20210929_001904_1.jpg IMG_20210928_233548.jpg

E0E8D713-67D0-4509-B4F4-29C0FF1FE5A6.jpeg Here’s some of my HG kits that I’ve built in the past few months. And haven’t shared.

This is by far one of the best hobbies I’ve ever had. I had a 45 min convo with a stranger at Hobbytown in Buford yesterday about our favorite kits. He even talked me in to the MG Double X. I love transformers, but noone has ever spoken to me in the toy isle at target/Walmart/toys r us. Most of the time people would avoid eye contact.

I still have to panel line ‘em but it looks so good on the 1/100 shelf.

    3579F521-FDEE-4AEB-8A55-7E1BDCC3A202.jpeg

Also I made another bad Klarna decision:

    D453F802-DD2A-4EB1-A897-59ED78CA0F23.jpeg

Now I only need Heavyarms, Epyon and Proto Zero, and my Endless Waltz collection will be complete.

Ah, the most magical time of year is almost upon us - r/Gunpla's Secret Santa signups have begun! Last year I just said "surprise me!" and got both RG Nu and Sazabi and waterslide sets out of it, so I'm rolling the dice again with another 'Surprise me!' along with a link to a Google Sheets list of all the Gunpla I own so they don't buy something I already have.

@anubis20 I think you can qualify, too! Just depends if you've posted on r/Gunpla before April 1st 2021, since I've seen your stuff there.

I'm finished with my side projects over in The MegaMan MegaThread, and I'm back to work on the Gundam MkV.

    20210930_235440.jpg

The feet are between layers of paint and layers of plastic . My white stripes for the feet are clean but need some touch ups. Meanwhile my primer is getting put to use on the vernier nozzles.

    20210930_235806.jpg
I debated with myself since the last time I worked on the MkV, but came to the decision to paint the rings around the inside of the nozzles in red, with silver for every plate at the bottom of each thruster.

Speaking of secret santa... One of the gunpla groups on Facebook where I moderate just wrapped up our secret summer santa event and I got a pleasant surprise, the HG Transient Gundam Glacier. :D  Also a bunch of candy and a 3D printed Anaheim Electronics logo. IMG_20211001_021514.jpg

Got into the mood for some Gundam Wing and took these two out for some cleaning.
    IMG_20211002_095758.jpg

Built this when I was a kid and had a lot of fun painting and customising them, they still hold up appearance wise in my opinion. Vayeate needed a lot of work because he didn't even come with an open left hand to hold his gun properly while the cable that connects to the gun was hard plastic.

    IMG_20211002_095118.jpg

Also lost the face plate with the smaller lens...he is now permanently in scoping mode.
    IMG_20211002_095135.jpg
Please excuse the bad nubs, I literally built it when I was starting out with nailclipers and no Gundam Markers.

    IMG_20211002_095352.jpg
Mercurius's limited articulation shows its age since it is meant to do more action poses whereas the Vayeate doesn't need much.

    IMG_20211002_095719.jpg
The planet defensors also don't fully deploy...

I thought of getting Wing Zero to go with them but maybe I need to get that premium Bandai HG...

Maybe I'll make the other one tomorrow...

Man I miss building Gunpla. My mother's been in an out of the hospital for the last month and I haven't really had the time or money to devote to this hobby, (or Transformers... or anything really) especially with the model kit shortage. Everything I am interested in seems to be sold out/backordered with no ETA. I have the Blitz Gundam and Fourze at HLJ but I want to wait until I have more than just two things to ship.

Saw Mecha's review of the first Kyoukai Senki kit and it looks really damn good.

I'm debating preordering the others just so I don't miss out.

Was browsing mandarake a couple months back during work and one faithful night I happened across this beauty and now it’s finally arrived!

I need some help. I opened up my MG Double X and it doesn’t have any stickers in it. Every bag was sealed all runners are accounted for but no decals. It doesn’t have The Blue fin sticker on the box so no help there. The only thing I’m worried about is the silver that goes in the wings.
