I've got the Ral Blue version put aside for now, and I'll get to it eventually... meanwhile I'm somewhere in the four week mark on my replacement Gouf skeleton to arrive so I can work on the MG version.
Looks like he needs a leg up on everybody! bu dump bump! - Okay, looks like my mix last night was TOO dark. again. Quick revision, without stripping the paint I put on already. I just used more of the Dominance's mixture and less Dark blue, with just a touch of French Blue. Since I can't leave something well enough alone because I already had the idea to add more blue paint on the Avalanche Exia... time to make a bottled supply for future reference. That's now the fourth recipe of cobalt blue I've made. The first two are predominantly cobalt blue and white with the additional shaders while the latter two are more violet based. Nonetheless the differences are noticeable.
Curious... -- First phase of the 0 Raiser, giving it some attention with a brush and liking this recipe. It will work perfectly when I come back around to the Avalanche Exia. The hinge mechanism to fold it over seems odd, but I see how it all depends on the section I still need to work on that links it to the back end..
So Interceptor's done. I will say that the base kit is pretty good. I'm not sure if I like it as much as the Zakus, but it's definitely up there. But man this has no business being about the same price as those Zakus with how little it comes with.
Right? When I first saw all those heads and v-fins I was very very confused. But there's a lot of stuff put into this set to make up for the compromises that make the transformation possible. Strelizia begs to disagree.
Oh wow, the kit and your built looks nice! IMO the MS looks good without panel-lining the cheek-chin area - which looks like a snout (after panel-lining). Nice! I just wished Bandai will release a MG of this series, especially the Kamaki Burning Gundam! I really like the designs of the series.

It's a 'Premium Bandai' model kit so if you want to buy it you're most likely gonna have to pay a bit extra from an import shop or BBTS
That's the P.Bandai exclusive Unit 2. If you get it directly through someone through Japan or you pay the markup from a domestic retailer, usually one month later than the release date. Or pray it's one that Blue Fin will sell directly and you can get it at a more reasonable price.
Unless you have a friend in Asia or if Bluefin decides to bring it over you're gonna have to find some other means of purchasing it and chances are it's gonna be marked up. I had an idea and a few hours later, it looks pretty good! Let me start ar the beginning, I was building the 0 Raiser and started looking at ways to add more blue to the surface. Covering areas I sanded and breaking up the solid white surface on the top side of the craft. You can also see where I started to paint the tips of the binders. Then I really started to just run wild on the 00 itself with blue paint down the sides of the legs and arms, working my way upwards from the way I painted the leg and ankle armor. There isn't much room to do it on the torso so much, but a couple of highlights on the front are enough. Compared to the original kit, courtesy of Dalong.net, I'm not planning on painting the GN Drives in any eccentric ways, but I might find some way to mix things up a little when I get to building the backpack. The blue stripes from the shoulder down to the elbow, where I break off to a gray stripe where it comes over the GN particle condenser, and match the gray bars down the legs. Seeing how I've already got the weapons built, I figured I should still find a way ro add some paint to them too. I didn't get a picture of the smaller weapons, but I did get a couple shots of the Buster Sword to see how it turned out. Where the broad white blade meets the blue half, again, compared to a Dalong.net shot. And to mine again. Here you can also see I've painted the clear light piping parts with a mix of clear green and clear blue, which was mostly done already back to when I first got this kit. Even so, I made a fresh batch of clear teal for future use *but also to paint the clear parts that go inside the Raiser's binders.. The only accessories I didn't touch were the Katars and original 00 shields because I didn't like how it might have turned out. In any case, expect some more detail painting like this with the XN Raiser parts too.
Had some good weather in the morning to take a few pics. Really enjoyed this kit and I can see myself make a few more kits like this.
That looks nice! Didn't know you also got the special rifle for it. The only other kit like this one is the GM Dominance.
And just to emphasize, it's because it basically is the same kit of the same MS - GM Dominance in the side story becomes Stormbringer. I didn't notice the rifle on Stormbringer was unique, though - was this an extra P-Bandai release?
The rifle and shield are from Gundam Hobby Life. It's almost the same as what you get with the Hyaku Shiki Crash just with a new base for the shield that can plug into the SB's arm and the base gun is styled more after the MK-II's. The barrels and shield plates are all the same tho. So the new parts between the GM Dominance and Storm Bringer are.... Frame wise: New torso inner section (the core the shoulder pistons move on), new neck and new hip parts. The legs as far as I can tell use the same knee's as the Dominance. and the SB uses the GM sniper backpack inner parts. Armour: all new head, chest, back pack, hips, shoulders, New knees and some new slightly longer toes. You actually get a fair few Dominance parts left over. Like all the back pack minus the frame all the head minus the visor and lenses and most of the chest minus the upper armour. And you get a lot of left over GM parts. I'm actually tempted to get a GM Command to just try and fit on the Dominance chest vents and shoulder pads etc.
