More like.. It sure is a nimble, hyper articulated design. Lets see the G40 Zaku! - This where I'm stopping at for the night. Painting the panel gaps in the feet, the long blue and red strips for the legs, undercoating the shoulders, and working my way through the Double Spazer. I wound up using the metallic teal some more, thinning it down to a sort of clear coat for the cockpit of the Spazer and the clear part for Grendizer's face. Put some silver on the back sides of those parts and it really shines! The Spazer is where this kit really needs the extra work with a paintbrush, otherwise you're going to end up using decals, but the areas to paint are clearly bordered with panel lines to make it easier. Compared to the Grendizer itself where they really went all out for its primary color separation. Painting the high fin, turns out my "White Devil" white is too bright, so I'll give it another coat of plain flat white.
Bandai... we need to talk. If you're going to release a Version 1.5 of a model kit, make it a Regular Retail release. MGリ・ガズィ（ユニコーンVer） レビュー First, it's definitely a Version 1.5 and not a complete 2.0, but it is still an improvement of the original. Frame, proportions, parts design. Some of the armor is used from the older kit but it replaces so much of the internal structure. The leftovers from the original kit.

Nice, enjoy the kit! I'm a big fan of it, in some ways even more so that the Zaku 2.0. Definitely the best RE 1/100 kit I've built (out of two, admittedly). Speaking of Zakus though, I really hope we get a 40th Anniversary Zaku to go with the Gundam. I really like the redesign, it's more subtle than the Gundam but it works really well.

Spent time fixing my old kit instead of building new one to slim down the backlog. Now the hip armour doesn't stick out as much. The problem with fixing kit is that the more you fix, the more problem you find. Now I realize that the cockpit hatch and chest should be different from the UC version and the hip should be wider. At least Bandai got the head, weapon and a few other things right.
After playing the Dwadge in Gundam Battle Operation 2...I want one. Not the custom though...the regular one. Thankfully it's getting a re-issue too! My the person I'm gifting to in our yearly secret santa is also a gunpla guy. He's getting Moon Gundam since, goddamn it, it's definitely one of **THE** HG kits of 2019 to get.
Because it's Christmas... put on an appropriate film. Rather than working on Grendizer, I ended up sidetracking from it and restarted working on the Moderoid Mazinkaiser.. again. I have been promised the INFINITISM Kaiser from a friend, and although it remains some time and distance away, I've had this kit long enough and was overthinking how to work on it. I looked over my previous work and thought the better of it, deciding to start from scratch and stripped the paint from everything I had done before and opted for a total yellow to Gold change. This makes the prepainted head look much better, and works pretty good on the rest of it. The model comes with silver foil decals that would fit under the heat sink, and on the Scrander's wings too. The chest piece i hand painted, but for the wings cheated with a rattle can of silver spray. Though I masked the wings surface so I wouldn't coat it by accident, my paint did get a little outside the boundary I wanted. With the clear parts set in place, I can clean away my mistakes without compromising the paint underneath. I tried painting the sword at the same time as the wings, but oversprayed it and now it's in the Super Clean bath for the night...
Fun xmas build with my cousins, got them a HG GM and HG Gogg. This was their first gunpla project and model build in general. 1-1.5hr build, and then we weathered the GM. Both kits got top coat as well.
