I built the Gerbera Tetra and it's a solid enough build. My only real gripes with it are the arms, they do have a decent amount of articulation so everything can mostly get out of the way, but the forearm cuffs get in the way of some saber poses and there aren't many different ways to pose the beam machinegun due to all the bulk it has to work around, and the trigger hand being bent at a slight outward angle.

Took some quick pics of my most recent finished build, the HG Gundam AGE-2 Normal. Despite being a 8 years old, this kits ages shockingly good with color seperation that even puts some most recent kits to shame (HG Gundam Gusion Rebake FC, I'm looking at you!). With a solid build, barely any loose parts and great articulation, this kit is quite a surprise.

The strider mode isn't too bad, despite parts-forming are required. I do appreciate that an actual display stand are included to allowing the kit to be displayed in its Strider mode just straight OOB, and the fact that you can store the additional hand parts and MS hip-joint on the base is nice; I wish that more action stands can do this.

So this is my WIP. The grey one on the right is the original model I abandoned because I didnt like the proportions or style. The Rex/Grimgerde Frankenstein is the "proof of concept" which is why almost nothing has been modified, but I already like the look of it way better.

Yeah, they need paint but when the paint comes out well they look great and you get that accomplished feeling. Haha. I was considering getting the two Astrays because I love the Astray designs but I wasn't really feeling the designs in Sangoku form.

I actually don't mind the beards, it's like the little chin-nub grew into a beard. Haha.

Yup, they were always ABS joints and the newly reissued Hazel apparently has PS joints according to this picture.

Or you can get the Doven Wolf itself since the suit also uses Federation technology (Psycho Gundam MKII and Gundam MKV)

True, it even comes in ZZ and Unicorn/Sleeves variants. But does it still do the awesome thing where the back binders fold over the shoulders and open up to fire a volley of missiles?

    Hello Gundam thread folks!

I'm building my first Gunpla at the moment. I panel lined it last night, but it still needs a spot of paint here and there to finish it off.

The Astaroth and it's variants are pretty well rounded kits. Nice weapon selection, cool parts, and I've always wanted to get two so I can make two symmetrical variants.

I really hope that’s just a missed spot for clean up on the face vents .

Unfortunately, the faceplate broke on me when I was cutting it off the sprue. The break line was barely visible before, but the marker really brought it out. I'll clean it up when I do the rest of the face and eyes.

Mail's here.. new addition to the Backlog, Weekend project, or Prototype for repainting a 1:100 scale Prototype?

    20190817_142254.jpg

At least it gives me an excuse to finally use that HD Builders Part Weapon set with the Gouf Heat Saber varieties..
