The work so far is brilliant! If only we were getting a Non-Scale Infinity and Clear Gold "Photon Power" Z.

I may have gone too far in a few places.

Got myself both Selects Red Wing and HG Gundam AGE-2 Normal.

With some of the HG AGE kits finally been reissued once again, I might as well jump on the opportunity to finally have an actual kit of my favorite Gundam design.

The HG AGE-2 Normal is a great kit. I will warn you to BE CAREFUL with the shoulders when it comes to the gray stickers (you'll see what I mean) - when I built mine, I accidentally put them on the wrong side of the shoulders and had to remove and reapply them.

Thanks for the tips. Consider that I finally have an actual kit of one of my all-time favorite Gundam designs (That isn't a floppy display piece like the MG), I'll love to build it without messing anything up.

The AGE-2 Normal itself is a design that I'm a big fan of, the MS itself is like a perfect mix of the 00 Raiser, Zeta Gundam and the AGE-1 Normal itself.

Starting to attach all the legs, the thing is coming together smoothly.

Currently still building my HG Gundam AGE-2 Normal. For a 8 years old kit, the build is quite ahead of its time and the color separation is very good with barely any color-correcting stickers.

    Can't wait to finish it.

Now seeing this is making me happy, just a bit more to go. And I hope my plan of using finish film for the striping works out.

Y'know that thing where you order something and it's been a few days without a shipping confirmation and now you notice what you just ordered is backordered? I hate to say it, but USA Gundam is really pushing my buttons more often than not lately, especially now that they seem to ship with fedex exclusively...

I started adding the stripes with vinyl strips, the ones of the rocket pod for the forearms was easier then I expected, and the ones on the back hands are as difficult as i thought they would be.

Man, a modern Psycommu Zaku would be sweet. I really liked it's Thunderbolt appearance, as brief as it was.

Resuming taking pics of some of my older stuff. Grimoire Red Beret is probably still my favorite Build Divers kit. Its got the swagger and style of a professional shoulder and just check out how good this thing looks holding a rifle!

Red Beret was definitely one of the best things out of Divers.

Pity it only got the one good battle in the 'prologue' and then basically got treated as background fodder for the rest of the series.

Posted these two silly pictures on my Instagram recently.

Taking a short break from the Vagan War, Flit decides to build his own "son"......

I'm almost finish building the legs of my HG AGE-2 Normal, and now still waiting for the top coat on some of the parts to fully dry.

So my big plan of making the mech from my book out of 30mm kits has fallen by the wayside because the damn things are just too small. Which is fine, they're still great and I'll still collect as many as possible, but I'm back to just having a head with no body.

Until, that is, I started looking at the leftover Lupus Rex parts I had, and noticing how much I love the silhouette of the chest and shoulders without the oversized arms and legs. So after some brainstorming I decided I'm gonna do a YellowCorvette and just make my own bloody mech. He managed to blend parts from different kits in a way that made them always look like they belonged, so I'm going to see what I can do.

Only problem is I need the kits to blend. Ugh, gonna be another few months before I can afford for fodder, but this time it should be worth it.

Japan has an unfair advantage (on top of being able to walk into a brick-and-mortar) in that they have places like Yellow Submarine that are basically the plamo equivalent of junkyards -- you can just buy/sell the pieces you need instead of buying entire kits to part out.

Gunpla is not freedom, it is despair.

That sounds amazing. Little plastic scrapyards.

TBF I plan to use a lot of pieces from the Grimgerde so it's not like I'm buying it for basically one piece like I did the Lupus Rex.

Almost done, just warning stickers and some stripes and on the hands to do. The vinyl worked perfectly!

man, Heavy Arms Igel equipment is on order at Bluefin for 60...gonna pay 115 for him on Nippon Yasan. I'll pay for it from them this time but if the other Glory of Losers MGs are coming to Bluefin I'm just gonna get it from them now. I don't wanna burn bridges with Nippon Yasan.

Ouch. I've been avoiding N-Y ever since the Kairos Incident. I was already pretty iffy with them after I got scalped on the Gokin Mecha Godzilla.
