Here's a close look at the HGUC Zeta Gundam (Gundam Evolution Project Ver.). And you can even make a Zeta Zaku with it.

The Schnied is a retail release.

I placed an order for Atlas Gundam finally. I think I may bypass the stickers altogether and just try and Gundam marker the yellow strips since they're all on raised/recesssed detail.

Say. Do you guys count the Bandai Star Wars 1/12 scale Stormtrooper kits as "Gundam enough" here? Not sure where to gush about them. Here or the Star Wars toys thread.

Anyways, I decided to get the Death Trooper a few days ago after finally watching Rogue One and...damn, I'm really impressed. Really, really impressed!

I mean this thread is kinda catch-all for Bandai and other assorted plastic models. Not like there's much of a home anywhere else.

@Squee sorry no, but always glad to see your work, always awesome.

I have the First Order Trooper buried in my backlog, I'd say it's safe to talk about here too since we can compare it to the Super Fumina as far as "figure" kits are concerned.

Despite sharing some core frame kit pieces (ankle slide hinge joint, inner arm structure under the armor, rear head fin thing) with its predecessor, the Bugu doesn't feel any more similar to the Waff than it would a Zaku I. Additionally, the runners have multi-gate colors on the A plate - something that the normal Ramba custom Bugu lacks (as much as I can guess) as it's a monochrome blue whereas the Flight Test Type scheme of the P-Bandai is orange, white, and brownish-gray.

I plan on stickering the Bugu after lunch, after which I can finally complete the first quartet (Units No. 01 - 04) of the Zeon Space Strike Fleet MS compliment!

That Bugu looks pretty good. Big fan of the colours. ;)

Also, got payment request for Gundam Atlas. FINALLY Super Minipla Daizyujin will be on the way. I really put that off for a while.

Oh yeah, one of the best parts of the kit actually is how it is basically built along similar lines to the Waff, except better in every way. The chest is more stable with some interior frame bits and the shoulders aren't some double layer annoyance while still on relatively independent hinges (requires fiddling with the upward hinged polycaps but the shoulder armor isn't as bad as it usually is for Zaku-esque suits). The part separation also comes through much better comparing this kit to the images with the included Ramba Ral custom instructions, which simply has a single shade of blue where the standard Bugu does not.

So I'm sure many of you know, but Premium Bandai has an American webshop now! Very little is up but I have to say, the prices are patently outrageous, especially ordering from Canada, but even for the US a lot of the prices are quite high and shipping is flat rate $33. So expect it to be a short-lived site.

Well. I bought my first gundam today at the ol' hobbytown for $18, probably the best figure I've ever handled. A shame his stomach ball joint won't hold the best.

Mere days after I finished the Bugu, too. Guess that Gundam Nadleeh I have lying around from that silly USAGundamStore 'mystery box' from two months ago will have to be the rainy day kit as I'm never going to build it at this rate :lol
