Ah I see. Yeah I stopped watching the show a long time ago. The link Burnout posted was a petition originating from the Philippines and I didn't really get it.
From the Gundam wiki: Due to Iok's incompetent and distasteful actions in the anime regarding the Mobile Armor and the Turbines, he is among the most hated characters in the Gundam series and fans also created and signed a petition for hoping him to die in his later appearance. Meanwhile, two Twitter hashtags called "イオクがどんな死に方したら満足か考える (Let's think of the satisfying ways to kill Iok)" and "イオク・クジャン殲滅部隊 (Iok Kujan Annhilation Squad)" is created by the Japanese fans after the airing of episode 40. Yeah, he's THAT hated.
He's pretty damn despicable, with no charm or anything to offset it. In fact, on top of being just a shithead, he's a deluded idiot and a coward. Even the actual villains think he's worthless.

Well Iok is supposed to be a big fucking douche who is completely useless and full of himself, so the fact everybody hates him is actually the intended reaction as far as I can tell. This is supported by how according to the wiki page about is MS, it's been modified to a sniper support role 'based on the suggestons of his subordanates' - which is about the nicest way of telling him to stay as far away from the fucking battlefield as possible given everytime he does sortie he needs the chick to save his ass because he is such a poor shot. Though I will be buying his Regenlaze, because who better to use as a whipping boy for displaying suits using special effect attacks on?
At least GSD's dingbat had the stupidest, most satisfying death in the series. Provided we're talking about Yuuna.
Damn, the Rouei actually looks really cool: HG IBO 漏影 I've wanted to get an MS to represent the Turbines and it'll probably the this. I just don't think the Kakeija is that great looking.
That thing is a solid upgrade in all but the shoulders, which I like the more dynamic originals. Also nice at how few stickers there are...though where the body needs blue stickers I'm surprised they didn't do those in plastic.
Yeah, I liked the more compact shoulders of the Hyakuren. Then again, the new shoulders allow for greater movement at least. I like that there's a good selection of weapons. IBO has been pretty stingey on those for a while now.
The Rouei looks really good. I agree, I don't like the colors on the Hekija. Anyways, finally finished Lupus. Some promo stands pics in there, I really think the blue fits well with Barba, then again blue is my fav color lol ; Bonus; "Aniki let me kick his butt WAAAAA"
Even if it had good colours the Hekija is just really boring. It's underdetailed and lacks any neat design flourishes.

Hahaha thats money! On the topic of 1/144 HG's, I'm just really impressed with the amount of quality Bandai is putting into these guys. The sticker sheet could be double the size but they're actually casting sigils into molds among other things. Such a weird thing to see a company that's actually not cutting corners and putting really good product out there. I almost lost faith in the line when the first G-Reco suits were released. Those were baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

In other news, frustratingly the paint I'm applying to the EZ's legs is, like... not really cracking, but the opposite where the cracks are raised up. Like an inverted desert. What the hell? EDIT2: So I think what may have happened is the surface might not have been clean. I thought it was, but maybe storing it in a cardboard box got microfibres on it. I think I fixed it.
