It's like you purposely want Gunpla to never come here.

Got a snapped Age 2 Dark Hound MG from a forum member on another board. $20 including shipping. Pretty fun kit, the guy didn't do the best job cleaning up the nubs, but luckily they just need to be cut away instead of gouged out. I CANNOT get the tranformation to work lol parts keep falling off. I was gonna keep it in robot mode anyway but i was curious.

Naw that's all his posts. I've had that individual blocked for years.

And Gunpla did come over in 2000, as part of Bandais horrifically botched attempt to get Gundam to the US. Obviously we see how well that went....

And now MY negativity, effing Gouf! Finished the arm, went to turn it and the thing ripped apart at the ball joint....guess I over tightened it. Now i have to decide if I can fix it, or flip the hands..... and the wrist has small hollow sections that expose it to exactly this sort of issue.... seriously, I love my wife and am so happy she bought me a 1/60th of my favorite suit. But if I ever get to ask Bandai a question, it will be "did you fire the person responsible for this model"

I think you'll like it when you're done.

I sold mine off as soon as I finished painting it. It wasn't worth the trouble of keeping, IMO. Does make a good display piece, though.

So, last month I FINALLY got the damn Extreme Gundam I've been wanting since March, mostly built him straight up without any prep simply to condense what I needed to subject to a blackwash lining, which ended up being all of him except for the middle of the chest and the entire head.

I've been delayed in getting back downstairs to finish blacklining my Byarlant Custom (he looks really strange with his blackened 'space shuttle' solid boosters and the triangle-ish booster 'fins'...and both his legs are spotless :lol ) and so by extension I can't proceeed in assembling the central portion of Extreme. However, I still happened to have a spare HLJ promotional gattling gun from my aborted attempt to make the R35 look more like the Gouf Custom (turns out he couldn't hold it and he didn't need the thing to look fuckin' baller anyway) and, wouldn't you know it, the foward handle JUST happened to be exactly the width of where the transparent blue inlay piece goes (for simplicty, I consider the translucent bits on Extreme Gundam to be his own kind of psychoframe, since if Unicorn can do it, so can the Gundam who has pictures of himself naked on the box!).

Camera's still busted, unfortunately, but suffice to say, Extreme Gundam currently looks sort of like this only with a blue torso instead of red and a six-barrel Gatling in place of a shotgun:

completed my PG, but its not 100% complete yet. gotta build the weapon, then do some touch up, coating and i'm still havnt decide if i want to fill in the panel line for the wings... there is a few panel line, but it might look weird if i fill them in without highlighting the rest of the wings..

btw do bandai sell action base for PG? Zero is so back heavy that it cant stand properly..

There's no official PG stand out there. There are knockoffs of the PG 00 Raiser stand meant for that purpose, though.

1/72 The O from G Sys. Beautiful piece, I got this guy second hand so I had to put lots of work into it since the previous owner pretty much trashed it, but it was half price so I was happy with the purchase.

IMO this is what the 1/100 The O should have been (mass wise). 1/144 HGUC The O for comparison.

Yeah, absolutely beautiful work. I would be interested to see the condition you started with for comparison, if you took a picture of it...

Sorry no before pics, most of the damage came in the way of broken joints like the thighs, shoulders and the waist/hip was broken in half. Lots of super glue residue was also sanded off and a few connector pegs were also broken. I think the previous owner might have dropped him, and at 7lbs that is pretty lethal to this guy.

Is this the version with the full action frame? I hear those things are nightmares to fix.

Yes it was the full action frame, but he is fixed pose now due to all the breakage and improper assembly from the previous owner.
