^ Yep. When it arrives I'm going to paint it up a bit... I edit the photos prior to give me an idea of what it will look like.
35-40 for High Grades? Jeezes, even the most expensive shops in my neck of the woods only charge 20-30 depending on the kit...
Well the HGUC Sinanju is that much at most places.
Yeah, some of the bigger HGUC kits like the Mesala and Gapalant tend to be 45-50.
But, in scale, doesn't sinanju in general hold a higher price point per grade BC its bigger?
Yes. The reason i mentioned the Sinanju is because the original quote from Crossfire was in response to the post i made about B&N. The only hg's they have for sale right now are the HGUC Sinanju, the Unicorn Destroy mode w/ head display base and the old hg Deathscythe hell Custom. Kit. The DS is 15US where the Unicorn and Sinanju are both 35, which is the standard price for these kits and is why he mentioned the price.
I think Zeroedge didn't see that they only have 3 1/144 scale kits instock so he didn't get why xfire was mentioning paying less.
Oh yeah, whoops. Didn't realize the 1/144 Unicorn on B&N was a "special edition"... I guess that accounts for the higher price compared to run-off-the-mill High Grade kits. But yeah, only a handful of local hobby shops carry Japanese models- and like I said, their prices are ridiculous. I'm hoping that Chapters/Indigo/Coles out here start carrying basic kits at the $20 mark.
Dunno if this was posted already but…MG Proto Zero Box art and it's glorious!
You could go in chronological order of their construction within the Universal Century; that's what I'm doing with my Geara Doga, Nu Gundam Ver. Ka, and Sinanju Stein.
I wish the mercurius and vayeate was more in focus on the cover. Makes me doubt they'll be made.
^ yes but we can dream can't we?
How is it that someone hasn't made a Poster collection from these Boxarts?
Damn, good eye Squee!
Are there any other photos of what they look like?
I'd love to see MG of those two.
The strange part is that neither suit actually appears in Endless Waltz, which Proto Zero's art proclaims right above Mercurius.
Progress? I'd say it's done. If the Zeong didn't need legs, then neither does the Sinanju!
Well, I'd at least need to build the pelvic area and skirt to bring it to Zeong level, lol.
I used non-matte coate on this one too bc of the gold... I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's extremely shiny/reflective in-hand.
I can't wait to get him!
