Can anyone identify the samurai charactor in 1/6th Asmus Toys as shown on Toyark while they're uploading pics from SDCC.
This one from the Asmus Toys with the Lord of the Rings, Devil May Cry display. Edit: Looks like their following in behind POP Toys: Butterfly Helmet Series (Deluxe Version) and Coo Model Samurai (Deluxe Version set). Edit 2: Seven days later... It's Pop Toys Genpai Heroine Tomoe Gozen Deluxe and the Gold Lacquer Grand Amour. Now seriously debating if I want this one as well.

Pleased to finally see proper product shots for Endgame Rocket but also disappointed they continue to reuse the same sculpt first released with the GOTG2 version.... not that it's a bad sculpt but some more variety would be nice. On the other hand the new costume looks fantastic and if he has either the same one or something similar for GOTG3 there's potential for a furry one somewhere down the line if Hot Toys can further refine their use of faux fur from doing Wookiees and Ewoks.
I was THIS close to preordering the battle damaged Mark 85, but I decided not to. Honestly, the only things that attract me to that figure are the charred gauntlet with the snapping hand, and the bloody RDJ head. The shield I’ll never use, same with the crab weapon things. The battle damage itself is cool looking, but I like the cleaner look of the regular version more, which I already preordered. Idk, maybe I’ll change my mind later if it’s still available for preorder. It doesn’t come out for 2 years anyway. The Iron Patriot looks badass. Love love love the overall shape. Rocket is neat but the price seems quite steep. And does anyone know when the arc reactor prop will go up for preorder?
Yea... I'm double dipping BUT you're absolutely right... the Battle Damaged is legitimately made for that last kneeling and snapping pose and outside of that I can't really think of anything else to do with it and it's a lot of money for something that I'll essentially treat as a statue.
God bless you for reaffirming that, because I was seriously debating it again it after seeing more people discussing preordering it in a HT Facebook group. I love that group but they are truly a bunch of enablers haha. It might be a very iconic scene, but you raise a good point — might as well get a statue. Iron Studios is making one, and although the RDJ likeness is horrible, it represents the same scene for less than half the HT price. So kudos to you my friend I can’t wait to see what kinds of pictures you’ll take with it though! I’ll be waiting in 2021 for ya
