Good review. Like you, I want to get this guy as well to have a second iteration. Got the Endgame one preordered, but that’ll be my definitive Cap; I wanted this one because of the suit and just to pose around more. Glad to hear the material holds up. That’s the benefit of IM figures though, no need to worry about clothes!

Got the full breakdown article and gallery up for the Hot Toys Captain America Concept Art Ver. posted to Kuma Style. Link in sig.

Article breaks it down by category but overall this is a 7/1o for me. It's darned good but feels like an incomplete package not coming with an unmasked head or shield holster clip for the back (I actually used a paperclip for photos.) With those things and maybe some more room for articulation range in the pants this would have definitely been a 9 at least.

Here are some picture from the gallery portion:

45 is such an underrated armor imo, looks great. Is the HT 45 really that much taller than the 46, or is it just the perspective? I am aware that the figure size has increased incrementally and that the 50 and 85 are taller than previous armors, but since 46 came out after 45, I’m just curious

They're the exact same height so just a perspective and the boost up from him standing on the ultron head.

Hmm.. Might be interested in the Rescue armour (depending on the price).

Apoogies for double posting but I forgot to ask if anyone has the diecast War Machine mk iii. Going to pick it up tomorrow morning but wondering if anyone has any particular gripes with it as a product.

Never bought a Hot Toys, but with that Rescue, I'm really weighing it now. Beautiful figure. It was suggested to me over on Reddit that if I'm interested, I ought to pick up something that's available so I can get a taste of Hot Toys and see how I like them versus waiting 'til 2021 to find out. So, since Rescue kind of begs to be part of a matched set...recommendations for an Iron Man that's easy for a Hot Toys newbie to get ahold of? Seems like a lot of them are waitlisted/long since sold out/not coming out for ages.

I have heard complaints that the figure isn't able to hold the baton securely and the baton is supposedly the package's unique selling point. I would rather hold off and wait for the mk IV, mark IV uses a pixelated camo scheme and carries a massive payload, it's more befitting of the war machine title.

If you’re looking for an Iron Man figure, I suggest going with anything that’s diecast and currently available. The Mark XLVI concept or Mark L would be my top recommendations. I have the standard XLVI, and can tell you it’s a great figure. The Mark L has been shipping in waves for a while now, and I think is still available and there’s been nothing but praise from what I can tell.
