Brunt finally arrived today (ordered him at the start of December) and he is such a fun toy!

I'm assuming someone has already done this but whatever. Twin headed snake mode!

Made these a while ago.




I guess I would call the combiner "Heavyback" or something because he's literally top heavy and hunched over a bit, as well as being heavily armed both literally and figuratively.
Has nearly full articulation. Nothing I could do for the head, no waist movement but has slight ab crunch so he can crouch to use his back cannon. Has knees and toe tilt, wrist pivot... More articulated than Override, go figure. But he can't use any of it really. Too heavy and just due to the nature of the beast he'd fall apart too much.
Also I have a 2nd Red Cog still boxed, so if I really wanted to I could replace the Blue Cog parts with those to make the whole thing more uniform.

Override in the Magnus armor feels very Super Sentai...

 

Neat! But this:

I so badly want an Overide in something like the Magnus armor, maybe something like 3rd-party Mastermind's Seraphicus Prominon set. And heck, might as well get an official Nova Prime out of the tooling too.

 

Menasor's lame gun can be attached to any of the limb's vehicle modes to recreate the G1 toy configuration!

I used Shadowstrip because he's is a "leftover parts with nowhere to go after Menasor is formed".  

Alternatively, you if you use the extra trailer parts to create wings for Menasor, the gun can be attached in on one of the 5 mm holes to give him a side shoulder cannon of sorts.  

 

I just use the extra trailer part as a bazooka.

 

I made a combination of Astroworks(or whatever his name was who actually remembers) and Airwave!
