Absolutely counts. To quote the great "That toy guy", it can do a pooth! That would be ironpooth I think

 

It's like the opposite of the G1 toy. That was a robot with no head, this is a van with only a head.

 

I’ve been playing around with combining PotP Prime Masters with their Legacy Pretender counterparts to form a sort of super mode for them.

Skullgrin with Liege Maximo was easy. I flipped in his right hand and attached the pretender shell to the underside of his forearm as a huge replacement claw hand. After that, I stuck both of his swords into his left hand and forearm to make a large bladed double-barrel blaster. For some finishing touches, I stuck the cannons on his back onto his shoulders just to change up his silhouette.

Bomb-Burst with Megatronus was a bit trickier as he doesn’t have any 5mm ports to attach the Prime Master shell except on his wings to attach them to his arms. I settled on equipping it this way and giving him a humongous raking trident weapon. Then, just to complete the Lucifer parallel that is the Fallen, I attached the other wing to Bomb-Burst’s back like a fallen angel.

For my headcanon, I thought since the Matrix of Leadership transformed Hot Rod into Rodimus Prime when he unlocked it, the Prime Masters, which serve as replacement Matrix cores should have a similar function. However, only Hot Rod physically transforms when he holds the matrix because he was forged in the likeness of Primus. Others just get a power boost from it. In the same vein, only the corresponding Pretenders can unlock the full power of their corresponding Prime and be upgraded by a Prime Master matrix.

Not sure if I did this right, but it's kinda crazy how conveniently the nub from Fasttrack fits into Cloudraker.

You did it the same I believe, though you changed the spoiler position to be more pronounced. Looks good!

 

I like when a mechanical beastformer has a third actual vehicle mode. That's why Double-dealer is my second favorite G1 tf. I really like the figure of weirdwolf, so I put together this hovertank mode for him. Unfortunately the turret doesn't hold on well, but it looks the part

Skullgrin's noggin pops off easy enough, just a matter of finding a fun head to put on/fits.  

 

I have a Spartan collection Jun... His alternate head would look hilarious on this

 

Breakdown's multiversal buddy Knockout can fill-in in the meantime...

This guy really needs the generations treatment. He's got great presence but crappy articulation and his minicon won't stay on in altmode. Still one of the few good ones from Armada that I intend to hang on to.

Edit: oh yeah, and make him Voyager size  

 

Honestly, same here. Baller design, but with Armada's limited articulation (Better than most, but still doesn't feel like enough) and the slightest tap making his mini-con fall off, he certainly needs a decent update.

I also wouldn't mind him having, well, actual hands, though with the option to have his hand guns.

 

I mean, we're getting armada hotshot, starscream Optimus, and megatron. Either that's it for awhile or we're probably getting cyclonus, demolisher, red alert, and perceptor.

 

So last Friday, a UK discount store TK Maxx had the Encounter 5 Botropolis Recuse Set for only £20 (what was the original released price?). Since I had became interested in the Siege/ Earthrise/ Kingdom modulator/ Weaponizer/ Fossilizer, I decide to nab this to get Ironwork and Overair.



I notice Ironwork has a scoop (don't know the proper name for it), I was tring to make a excavator fan mode but didn't quite work due to having nothing to resemble trends or wheel. Maybe an extra parts or two from other modular like Slammer or Fastrack?




I was trying to make something out of the runway into two instead. I think I had a little bit more sucess with Overair.
