Fiddling with this ship mode this morning granted me insight into what it was- a drop ship!

The 5mm peg at the bottom of Sixgun’s torso piece allows for vehicles with a COMBAT port to hitch a ride!

...Such as Hound here, who has an oddly placed port that means he has to be backwards!

 

I got the wonderfull "Scourge" version of the wonderfull Titans Return G2 Optimus Prime. Far better in those colors.
But I'm not totaly happy with the plane configuration. You basically got two halves of truck cab at the side of the fuselage. Not very discreet.

I tried some other configurations with the Octane mold. But this plane being less realistic, I feel those alternative tranformation fits this mold.
But I don't know witch one is better
Option one : Turn the fronts of the cab sideways with the wheel up, incline the front grill as some sort of air intake and turn the windshield the other way. It broke the silhouette of the cab. Strange. But not obvious.

Option two : The same, but the windsields are truned over to the back and oriented with the round bits up. It add two tail bit. Pretty dinamix. But the tailfin feels out of place now.

And option three :
Now the windshield goes in front and the nose of the cab at the rear. Wheels can make some sort of turbine exhaust. The wings go to the back of the fuselage to hide the windshields and balance the silhouette.


What do you guys prefer ?

Nope, after seeing @computron179's method, I tried it myself, the arm ports are hollow/deep enough to insert the unmodded warhead/gunbarrel like that!
