Very nice...

My biggest gripe about him is that his weapon suffers from GPS (gold plastic syndrome)... his lance crumbled at the joint very fast, but he was still in stores at the time so bought another (2 actually), and fast forward a few years of me being extra gentle with the second one, but just the other day, it finally did the same... ARGH....

I still have the last one in package as I really liked this guy, but I'm not going to bother and open yet another for just the weapon as it's certain that it's going to break anyways.

I'm not sure but I think there may have been a running change with him at some point,

Both myself and my brother got one each at different times ( he wanted them to be like star wars royal guards ) and I noticed that his one had darker and slightly more metallic looking handle on the weapon but on mine it was paler and less metallic. His was also more rigid while mine was a little flexible.

In the end his broke but mine is fine to this day with no issue

 

I would hope so...

There's the repaint that I considered getting at some point, but didn't.. because of the weapon, as great as this figure it, the lance isn't the greatest.

I really wished that they had done a repaint that would have had a proper gun.

 

Heres one that's more of an alternate transformation than a fan mode. Gave it a different head, so I could give it a new name as well

So all I did was relocate the weapon to the back, reverse the mid torso ( including upper legs ) kept the lower legs facing forward and mistransformed them to be shorter and chunkier, and finally pulled the neck base up past the locking point and angled the shoulders and grill more forward and outward.

Thought the small head would be a nice contrast the how chunky and odd this makes it look

Pretty sure you just defined a Fan Mode  

That said, great job. You certainly captured the aesthetic of Bayformer toys well. TBH I wouldn't have known it WASN'T one if you hadn't said
