Those Energon limbs always seem to work better with every figure except the Prime they were designed for. lol. Nice!

 

Broadside tower mode

 

Holy crap! This is freaking awesome! It might be better than the base mode I came up with for Broadside. I love the playability of this line. So much creative potential for each figure. Mucho kudos!!


I still like mine, but I'm definitely trying the tower mode. Excellent job!

I kind of want to buy another Broadside or two just so I can put each of these modes up in my city at the same time. I know there's at least one other aircraft carrier bot I forget his name (no, not Tidal Wave) so I could repaint the second as that. The third one could be my weak as tin "fan mode" of Broadside as the SHIELD helicarrier (it's just the wings in the front unfolded in an x-formation and the wing underneath it unfolded so that it looks like a flying aircraft carrier). I'd show pictures but seriously, it ain't nothing worth photographing.

 

Ya know how the CW Sky Lynx suffered from floppy foot syndrome on his hindquarters? All you have to do is unscrew the leg panels, take out the foot, flip it around and put it back in the same leg. Put everything back together and turn the legs like I had pictured previously and voila! I'm going to work right now but if you'd like I'll do a more detailed tutorial with pictures when I get home tonight. It'll be late because I work til midnight but I'm up late anyway.

Got another one for yeah. It doesn't hold together like AT ALL which is why I had to hold it in the picture but here's Primelock.



I basically did the same thing to Prime that I did for the Strongarm combined mode. Grimlock is mostly just in beast mode though the dino head is off, Prime is basically sitting on his robot head, and the dino arms are kinda helping to secure him like that the only thing is he's really top heavy and Grimlock's legs aren't meant to support all that extra weight. He normally stands up just fine but not when he has Prime on his head.
