Halfshell has Battle Gaia's Limbs (God Gaia) while Great Cannon has God Neptune's Limbs (Battle Neptune).

It's your choice to open him, and that is respectable, but the reissue is so damned cheap these days it's hard to justify it.

 

Nope, he was already opened. I found him at Goodwill. He was in the box, but missing his accessories and what not. But i'll be honest, he looks like he's brand spanking new. The only quip I have was with the box, it had a major flap crease.

 

You're allowed to not like something when it comes out.

I'm not feeling the love for this line either. I WANT to... it's obviously well engineered, good paint apps, and well thought out all-around. They're just a little too far removed from what I've been trained for giant robots to look like.

It's the opposite extreme of the Movie figs. They faces and heads on those were (In some cases) really hard to get my head to accept. There's something about the G1 cartoon inspired blend of human and mechanical that works for me. TF movie is too alien, TF Animated is too human.

Who knows? I got over my issue with (Most) of the movie figs. I may yet learn to love the big chin look.

 

my default computer is like 6 years old and has a dark CRT monitor. But lately I've been hopping on my dad's computer, and man, the images in this thread look incredible on a flatscreen. Especially the ones that already looked great like Syd and cata, they just look fantastic here

Woah... Since when is the Artic Camo Ruination's shuttle neutered? Kinda makes me glad I got the RID one.
