As I have a stronger preference towards Bayverse Crosshairs over G1 Crosshairs (Some may say Bayverse Crosshairs isn't exactly the most likable Autobot around, but he's ac least more of an actual character with distinct personality that whoever G1 Crosshairs was), I gave Siege Cog's dual blasters to my Siege Crosshairs to give him a look more reminiscent of his Bayverse incarnation.

Beautiful, and well worth scrolling through! As well as everything else, I loved seeing teh M.A.S.K. stuff in there, and Galactic Man was a treat too.

My only criticism was the Line 6 Amplifier. Though I admit, I am a valve amp snob.

I've wanted to do this for a while, and finally remembered to get out this pairing the other night.

Like many others, from the moment I saw the first pictures of PotP Punch/Counterpunch I've been wondering in what ways they might reuse the mold. People have pointed out that the figure shares design commonalities with Pointblank. I feel like we've been due the Autobot Targetmasters since Titans Return. With Crosshairs turning out to be a retool of Siege Ironhide I wondered how well P/CP would fit alongside the War For Cybertron figures, and if a retool might be coming our way.


Now that I looks at them together the aesthetic is subtly, but significantly different. There's some work that'd have to be done to make to accommodate both the Weaponiser/Modulator interconnectivity and also the blast effects. Not impossible, of course, but the more I look at them, the more I think "Nah!". I think IF we are going to see Pointblank in WfC then we're going to be looking at a brand new mold.
