When this GN Drive is installed on an Autobot, this device allows an Autobot to activate a "Trans-AM" mode that allows for a combat performance and speed 3 times greater than a regular Autobot, with a glowing red-colored hue all over its body.

He's not exactly a beautiful bot to look at, but he didn't need to be a pretty bot to be cool...

 

I've always liked Robot Masters Starscream. While it does have its flaws, I love how the arms fold out from the center of the fuselage like on the original, only without the need for plug-on fists. This results in a much sleeker jet than even the Classics mold. I'd love to see this design concept revisited - if he'd had working knees he'd be pretty much perfect!

Revisiting that other Cyberverse/DotM Megatron.

The DotM line was kinda strange in that the main figures were a step down from what we had been getting, but the small scale stuff took a leap forward.




It was peak "but she's got a new hat" though, but my Target kept putting everything on sale so I didn't mind.







No cape, no shotgun, no Igor... but some very cool accessories nonetheless. Not to mention it was pretty wild how Megatron was blatantly an Evil Optimus here, complete with a trailer/armor/base dealie. You can imagine how disappointed I was when I saw the movie do literally nothing with the concept.







Incidentally, I got him a gun from some not-Lego Pirates set. A musket and not a shotgun, but it's something.
