I'm more torn on choosing between the two than I thought I'd be. But that's mainly down to cheap reasons of nostalgia. Great as ER Warpath's tank mode, the old Generations figure is a lot more play-with-able. But the other guy stepped right out of 'The Smelting Pool' (he must be very warm). ARGH!

    Thank ya ma'am!!

Its been a fun (sarcasm) ride this year in the "lets see some cool stuff 2020" thread. Saw some really awesome pics including some great posing, and ideas with even better photo editing. And thats just MY pictures!!
    Another joke there...
Saw a bunch of new robits that ive never seen; which may have led to a couple of impulse pucrchases and even made some new friends.
But as it happens every year, this thread too will close. :(
    BUT.
Theres already someone just WAITING for midnight in their time zone to make a new thread, lolz!
I cant wait for it and we'll see yall there!
    Happy new year everyone!

One last Beast Wars retrospective before the New Year, and the new toyline.
Transquito! A drab brown-and-purple barfing mosquito man, what's not to love?

That's not meant to be ironic, I really do appreciate gross-out humor in toy form.

Transquito is a bit of an awkward toy, with parts that don't really peg into each other and a really weird neck joint.
    What even IS this?

Mosquito! The stem of the missile doubling as a proboscis is damn clever. The fact that the arms/sides don't plug into the body is bewildering. He can stand tall like this, but a more natural squat tears him apart.

Whip spider! Well, unfortunately, we won't be seeing that today since I went and broke him:
Ugh, guess I'll be seeing if ebay's selling this guy limb by limb like seemingly every other BW toy...

Well, since this toy's broken, might as well see what the face's apparent hinge joint is about:
... I'm not sure what I was expecting.

    (relax, folks, it's gold slime)

Transquito is a bit of an odd one for me since he's the only Beast Wars figure I have that's not a Fuzor or Tripredacus. I've been meaning to get more beasties for ages now, maybe Kingdom will finally spur me onto doing just that.

she has nice tight joints. It was harder to get the effects to stay on. The holes are slightly bigger than the tips of the legs.

yeah, ive had the pleasure of getting to mess with her a bit and for a SOOPER tiny spider; she unfolds into a very large almost deluxe sized figure, and yes the tolerances are quite good for such a small toy!
