Yo, mini games are fun. They're a quick fix when you're waiting a few mins for something.

I remember when I first got the DS. Had Super Mario 64 DS and spent so many hours playing those mini games.

I haven't looked into NES Remix though. Don't really need mini games that I can't take with me on the go.

 

You aren't the sole market for wii u man, some people want it, and from what I can make out Nes remix was a successes. I understand you want new games, but surely you were prepared for the drought when you recently bought your wii u?
We've all given you suggestions for great games avalible now, they either aren't something you're interested I'm it look too kiddy. We're all in the same boat here, like.

 

THe thing is, if I want a mini game, I'd buy one of those stupid things on my phone.

And no, I wasn't prepared for the drought, that is why I bought it in Dec. Plus, Reggie and Iwata said there would be no drought in 2014. So far, after DKC comes out there is absolutely nothing I want that has been announced thus far.

 

Smash Bros? I know you didn't like Mario Kart but I don't remember you disliking SSB.

Kain isn't a troll. We have our differences often but he commonly expresses opinions in well written posts. He doesn't always hate stuff either.

The thing is I find that hard to believe. You've had the same information we all have. I'm sorry you aren't a Mario Kart or SSB fan, but what else where you expecting? Bayonetta 2 is out soon I guess?

I'm not having a go at you, we're all in the same boat here. But since day 1 of you owning the system it feels as though you've had nothing really but negative things to say.

What games do you currently have in your library? Perhaps we could try and convince you again what games you are missing out on.

 

I don't hate Kart of Smash Bros, they are fun games, but I'll play them for like 2-3 weeks and then never touch them again as that is what I did with the ones on the Wii and like I did with Injustice (haven't touched that game since July). Fighting and racing really aren't games that are fun without friends to play them with all of the time, and I get tired of beating my g/f after a while.

It's cool though. I just picked up Metroid Prime Trilogy and REmake for the Wii so I can play them on the Wii U as I want to get rid of my Wii and not have to worry about GC games. Yeah, I still have Metal Gear Twin Snakes and Mario Sunshine, but I'm not too eager to play them again. In fact, I'll probably sell off all of my GC except Sunshine, which I want just for the sake of having. It is going to be weird starting REmake over from scratch again though, as I have been playing through that game with the Samurai Edge gun for years.

In his defense, I don't really understand the twitter thing. There isn't enough information in there to really assume the guy was really saying he is glad they aren't developing anything for the Wii U. Maybe people should actually write a sentence like normal instead of trying to be cool with the internet speak on twitter.

 

I think that's the real reason they haven't been given a wide release. They're dull and pixelated looking because they're being run via a legacy hardware mode. No savestates or bells and whistles of any kind, unlike all other VC releases. The 3DS probably doesn't have the horsepower to emulate them instead, so no wide release. That's been my theory.
