Nah, definitely not. :lol  I'll do it only if the price is good or I can't find a disc anywhere.
I heard Avengers was.. okay, so I downloaded it when it was on sale, because it was $40 less that RRP. It's an okay game.. something little to play with my girlfriend.

So get this, one of the next games to come to the Virtual Console may in fact be 'Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse' from the SEGA Mega Drive. Turns out in late February it received a classification in Brazil*for a release on Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS Vita, with the production date of 1990 suggesting it's a port. So it may be a HD re release vor, a Virtual Console release.

Hey guys. Wasn't Kirby supposed to be the 30 cent game this week?

My funds stored on the eShop are waiting for this VC update you guys speak of. I chose not to get a Pinball table because of it.

Let's just hope Nintendo delivers the goods and goes all out. Gives us every available platform.

Also, that Castle of Illusion I mentioned, turns out it's a complete remake.

I wouldn't be mad if they don't go all out right away, but I would be disappointed if they only add one new game every week like they did with the Wii shop. That was annoying. With a huge category of games to choose from, it was just one a week. I don't know if they started adding more each week, I wasn't around to see any of that.

Well from what they said in February, they would be preparing a list of titles for this for April. Hell, I'd be happy if they added five NES, SNES, GBA games, and two N64 and two GameCube titles to start off with. Or am I asking for too much?

I'd like more Gamecube games over anything else. Nintendo-wise, Wii Shop had focused on NES-N64, so seeing the same releases is kinda meh.

The Wii Shop had Sega games. Did they say anything about Dreamcast titles for the Wii U eShop? Shenmue 1 and 2 would be a def purchase, but I think mostly everything else have been ported over to XBLA/PSN.

Dunno. If the GameCube actually does show up on the Wii U eShop, I won't be too surprised if the Dreamcast quickly follows.

Something smart, if Nintendo can do it, would be to quickly release all existing VC titles on the Wii. Won't happen. But it would be smart. Still, I remember the Nintendo DS was also in the Nintendo Direct video's source code, so I'd still like to see that show up. Super Mario 64 DS on my TV at 1080p? I'll buy.

As of a minute ago, Shovel Knight was successfully funded, will launch in Septuember on the Wii U and 3DS, and feature four player battle mode. :D

Still can't believe it only just came out there. :lol
    It baffles me.

And though it's fot the 3DS, a new Nintendo Direct is due on the 17th. Though I honestly think we're in desperate need of a Wii U Direct.

I just bypassed and started my own virtual console last month by buying a new (well 100% factory refurbished) gba sp (ags101 with the dslite backlight) and have been buying a shitton of games off of cheap ebay auctions. In the last few weeks I've amassed 4swords/lttp, metroid zm, smba 1 & 4, mario & luigi superstar, final fantasy 1&2, final fantasy tactics advance, super ghouls & ghosts, castlevania cotm/hod/aos, advance wars 1&2, megaman & bass and gradius galaxies :D

I've just got my eyes on a few breath of fire 1&2, golden sun/lost age, and final fantasy VI auctions right now. I think that's a pretty good un-virtual console start :)

Any other gba games you guys could recommend? I suppose I could ask in the 3ds thread too, but I assume most of you had a gba probably at some point.

Since you have Advance Wars listed I'd recommend Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem:The Sacred Stones. Oh, and Metroid Fusion. It gets a lot of flack because it's easier than previous ones and does away with the traditional power suit but it's in my top 5 favourite Metroids.
