This year and month is the 25th anniversary to one of the coolest action movies and a quality Christmas movie as well.

I still remembered when i was 5 years old seeing this movie in theaters 4 times and blew me away each time i saw it and became an annual holiday viewing movie just like it's later cousin Die Hard (same producers).

IMO, Die Hard > Lethal Weapon.

Don't get me wrong though, LW is all kinds of awesome. Triangle choke FTW.

Die Hard plays its premise less for comedy and John McClane is more of lone wolf, while Riggs and Murtaugh wouldn't be half as funny without each other.

That said, they're all great action movies with different ratios of comedy, but while the scripts may be solid, its all the lead actors making it work.
