I didn't find his Terrorsaur annoying, but I'll second the Starscream emotion. Simply shrieking your lines does not a Chris Latta impression make - something that nobody, not even people who try to do the voice in fandubs, seems to understand.

 

I think Dr. Smoov does the best Starscream/Cobra Commander voiceovers around. I would love to hear him voice Starscream in WFC.

I hope whoever's voice Zeta Prime knocks the character out of the park. This day early April fools crap has made it pretty tough to top a voice as good as Mr. Nemoy's...

 

I see the frontpage news item got a correction, but could we get a fix on the subject title for this thread?

 

I still say this sounds more like Michael Bay-style heavy handed damage control. Why would a gaming site post false info? If it were April Fools, they would fess up to it, that's the point of April Fools, to say "HA YOU GOT SUCKED IN", not quietly remove text.

 

Who would YOU have picked, then? It's not like they had a huge choice, and Parker didn't exactly get the job for that ONE bit as Starscream.

 

Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't OBJECT to Parker in the role, just to the notion that he was somehow doing a bang-on Latta impression, when he really wasn't.

And granted Tom Kenny sounds enough like G1 Starscream, but Adler sounds even less like him than Parker.

Also, I just like Doug Parker, THAT'S why I'm glad he's (most likely) in the game.

 

Sorry if this is a dead thread, (6 days is probably not old) but obvious cover up is obvious.

 

I agree. To me this seems more like a cover up than an April Fools joke.
