Love how we have Heat toy, hot toys and flame toys now.
Finally, Sun of the Empire's review confirms that the grill DOES NOT need to be partsformed. Still have no idea why Ben'scollectables and Primevsprime thought it was necessary to remove it. Anyway, rejoice everyone!
This video actually makes him look good. Back on the fence on this guy. I'll have to think more, but looks fun and well engineered.
That's a relief for those interested in the figure but it's still such an odd size that it has no place in my collection
Just confirmed with @PrimeVsPrime that it is indeed possible to transform without removing it however the clearance is really tight. It’s absurd that they didn’t design that peg to be just a little longer and have a stopper at the end so it doesn’t detach. Anyways, makes it a cooler figure to me if partsforming is not required.
Nice that it doesn't need to partsform, but it's still too small for me to consider.
Because they are not good as reviewers, period.
Check this, the transformation is so simple:
Both of us never got instructions with this as was a production sample. We both tried our best to figure out the transformation and when you see that something is removable it would stand to reason that it was intentional by the designers.
Just take your time to learn the transformation instead rushing to upload your videos because you need views on YouTube. TF fans need to watch good reviews with calm and precise transformations to understand if the figure is good enough or not. The lack of instructions is only an excuse in my opinion. Take this post as constructive criticism and not as a personal attack, peace.
The YT algorythm is a cruel mistress. I don't blame reviewers for missing a detail here and there while getting through the pile of toys they try to showcase. I'm just happy that the biggest point of contention people had against this toy, is actually not a problem at all.
This guy seems a lot better than previous iterations. which I knew about him before I shipped my rollers stash from TCP...I would have waited :/. Next time then!
Your review was just fine, and I for one appreciated it. I actually rushed out and placed an order for it after watching. Thanks for making constructive and positive contributions to the fandom.
Thank you! I really do appreciate your kind words immensely
Interesting. I am much more interested in this figure now! If only there were a way to score it for way cheaper...
really wish an 'oversize' of a studio series scale would come. I like the bumblebee SS figures and this would have a good place among them if the sizes matched better.
Then the company should have been patient enough to produce and send a basic set of instructions to reviewers instead of rushing out samples and leaving them to figure it all out on their own. He did his best with what he had to work with.
It's not the first time. He's nervous EVERYTIME when transform the official products too. So, please, stop with all these excuses.
I do think it's a bit crazy to send someone a product as complex as a transformer and expect them to figure it out perfectly on their own. I think @PrimeVsPrime did a fine job. It's not like Ben who can screw up the simplest thing, plus it's obvious he doesn't do any research whatsoever beforehand. PvP's review had the figure looking good in both modes and he was thorough with his review.
Hell yeah, other people complain about the size while this is in exactly my sweet spot
I all in for this scale. Isn't this is just deluxe class scale ? it would fit a lot if you collect official toy too
And for me, MP is too big, legend is too small to cramped anything. This is just the right scale. also fit so much a lot of other robot toy brand i collect.
