I could never do the "Here I am, standing." kind of display.

Should have my Hasbro to Henkei switch done at the end of this month for the regular release figures. And then Ghost Starscream and inviso-Mirage sometime in September maybe. Plus there a number of customs in the works.

How is Henkei Ratchet/Ironhide? I hated the Hasbro versions but i'm really enjoying the Henkei paint jobs. How is the figure? Thumbs up or down?

I'm probably not the best person to ask as I liked the figures from the beginning. If you don't like the toys themselves, you probably won't like them much with a different paint deco. Though that may be enough of a consolation for you.

I think the molds are just fine in their own right and simply got a lot of undeserved hate.

I don't think if this makes sense but Colors are a huge make or brake with me. For instance, I hate G1 Ultra Magnus but LOVE the Diaclone colored version. Maybe i'll have to buy at least one to get my feet wet.

I'd suggest Ratchet. Once I saw the actual color pallet used on Universe Ratchet, I knew I was going to be buying the Henkei. I could have lived with Universe Ironhide, but the Henkei is also better color-wise.

Its an anoying term that many hope will fade away soon. It refers to the many names classics has had. Classics, Henki, Universe, Generations.

If you ask me (which you didn't but that won't stop me from answering) I can deal with classics 2.0 Ratchet. While there is something off with the white they used it wasn't _that_ bad. Classis 2.0 Ironhide on the other hand was terrible! I could've maybe lived with him if Hasbro ever got around to the running change of the blue face, but they never did. That blue face just ruined the figure for me. In the end I combined parts from my Henkei, and Classics 2.0 figures.

When I take new pics I wll post them here, but for now you can check out my now outdated collection pics in my sig.

Mine finally had to be separated by faction (for the most part).

They really need to come out with more Decepticons. Their ranks are seriously lacking.

I guess I should call it CHU since I don't consider Generations as the same as Classics, Henkei, or Universe.

Only one I do consider is Drift.

Hell, a lot of the Universe stuff I don't consider as Classics.

Will do. Oh and to answer another part of your OP. I display by faction just due to the sheer size of my collection.

I don't get tied up in the names to much. It's all marketing bs anyways. I'll never buy a movie figure besides Buster Prime but, Bludgeon who Hasbro admits to being designed to be in the classics line came in a ROTF box. Blur, Darkmount, Thrust, Drift, and trident and missile carrier dude are all pretty much Classics. Not to mention the glorius Jazz, Perceptor, Tracks we're getting! I can however see your desire for WFC figures to just be in their own line.

Yeah normally I don't count any figures that have the moving Mech Alive features as Classics which is why Bludgeon didn't make the shelf.

I count Mech Alive as still ROTF/HFTD/Movie.

WFC I keep in their own categories as well. Drift and the new Thrust were the only ones out of the Generations wave 1 that made it to my Classics shelf.

you guys are so neat and determined when it comes to displaying your Transformers. It makes me feel weird for mix/matching all my toys because I just think everything fits together lol.

Alternity and Animated? Sure.. why not....:lol

I only have the CHUG 'Cons fully displayed with a few G1 thrown in, but I'm still working on rearranging the Autobots. Here are a few pics:

I'm somewhat in the middle when it comes to mixing... I note where each figure comes from and belongs, but I also have lots of Cybertron and ROTF figures shamelessly mixed in with my Classics. Hell, I even have those wal-mart exclusive BWNeo recolors sitting next to Classics Grimlock, for lack of better Dinobots.

I'd love to contribute to this thread, as Classics are my favorite, but I still don't have a camera :[
