Arcane arrives!

This LEGO TF took me almost 2 months to complete .Arcane transform into a crane ,and *hic* ... a crane . The idea to make this guy came last year and it's been bugging me since , like a song that keeps repeating itself in my brain.

I only managed to think of a name for him last week and to my suprise..... "Arcane" (despite being a pretty decent name for a Decepticon, on par with "Bludgeon" ) was NEVER used before in TF universe.

One of the last component to be built was the targetmaster chick. Before this I thought of making the weapon/gun to be concealed as extensions to the bird/crane's tail.... but then again buttmaster doesn't sound right. So it's scrapped.






NO. Its not a partsformer . Transformation doesn't require parts to be taken off.

My days are numbered after this. So I instead of building unique LEGO TF from scratch.. I will be improving/upsizing my past LEGO triple changers .. starting with Springer & Broadside.

Aw... that baby crane targetmaster... That's a really creative pair of modes for a Triple-changer. (Also dig that Octane you have on the site... those alt mode look so good!)

Any chance you'll be making videos showing off the transformations, at some point? I'd love to see these in action.

That is incredible. Seriously, I've developed such awe and respect for lego customizers, and making them transform is even more mind blowing.

 

SHUT UP! This is freaking Brilliant!

 

There aren't many occasions one can really describe a project on these boards as "'beautiful" (lots of other adjectives for sure!), but the crane (bird) mode you've managed to design here really does deserve to be called beautiful! That mode alone, without other modes, would make this an awesome lego custom. The fact that it actually transforms into a robot and a truck as well? That's just too cool for words  

 

This is gorgeous. I keep staring at the pictures but I can't see how it manages to transform. I'm forced to conclude you're a wizard. Amazing, amazing work!
