    Nope. just good old trial and error. Sometimes I need to perform dozens of iterations/redesign just to get the transformation right . During this process.. I exhausted the ball joints strength from repeatedly test transforming my work in progress . Luckily I have a whole drawer full of such ball joint lego parts.
