Project Omega is finally completed after more than half a year (with few months of builder's block in between) !

Omega Supreme is one of the biggest Transformers to come out from the original G1 series from the 1980s. This version of Omega I'm building here was inspired from Transformers: Animated (TFA) show more than 10 years ago. He transformed into an Autobot space shuttle and was hijacked by the evil Decepticons to do their bidding.

So far, no official toy of TFA Omega Supreme was released. Hope you guys like my rendition here. Thanks for the support!

btw, just like most of my LEGO TFs..... transformation between mode doesn't require reassembly of parts!

This project posed a very unique challenge to me. Not only the rounded shaping is hard to replicate, I need to sculpt the underside of the ship as well , to do justice to his robot legs.

I myself have lost my love for legos (i still have them, i just keep them for customs parts if i need them), but this is pretty awesome. that ship mode is great and bot mode is too. I'm surprised those ball joints on on the knees hold up well. seems like a lot of weight for them to support.

Amazing! It's a real shame we haven't gotten an official one yet.

Man, I miss doing LEGO Transformers on the LEGO Digital Designer. Heck, I had a whole collection of OCs I did at one point. I had a weird formula-1-esque racecar headmaster, a lion headmaster, a small dinosaur combiner (with a Pteradactyl core and Stegosaurus, Mosasaurus, Triceratops, and Raptor limbs), an aircraft carrier headmaster, a vehicle combiner (SWAT van core with a snowmobile, jet, and two other vehicles for the other limbs), a helicopter targetmaster, and a few others I don't remember. I even made Optimus Prime, Blaster, Soundwave, Starscream, Grimlock, and Megatron on the Digital Desiner at one point. But all these pale in comparison to this, this is freaking amazing.

They really were quite bricky, but had nice scale, they ranged from Legends to Voyager (except the aircraft carrier, he was leader+)

thanks. yea I was suprised too at the strength of those joints. On the contrary... I need to apply bigger joints on the shoulder to cope with the weight of the arms. This is a LEGO TF project where I need to think in reverse coz most of my LEGO TF have big legs , slim waist and lean arms.
