Here is Omega Supreme Version 2.

updates include redesigned leg armor, guns, and new claw arm upgrades. was going to make more road sections for the wings/base mode, but was running low on time. maybe in a V3 update but much later.

arms now open similar to WFC omega, but was unable to figure a way to keep the barrel section in the center while open. was also able to keep original clear gun plastic part attached. V1 require it be removed for everything to fit.

Overall i think i am ready to start painting now. does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions. i spent about an hour looking through the radicons for ideas/tips to make this better. not many people seem to use lego to improve their transformers. will probably start painting in a weeks time. will post pictures when next available.

    Hi all,

Here are some quick shots of a project I've been working on for a while now. Actually, about a year of thought, and two days of actual building/rebuilding as some thoughts didn't work out.

Really looking to make this the best YOTS Omega out there so will happily take suggestions or feedback. I plan to paint the lego's to match Omegas overall color scheme, while incorporating G1 color locations. Goldish yellow on front leg "clips" etc.

See more pictures on my isolated Facebook Page :D

That's pretty cool, I never really expected the wings make such a big difference in robot mode. Now you've got me thinking of how to make a set!

Yeah, I'm trying to take elements from three sources to get the best look. Maketoys Armageddon upgrade, g1 omega and WFC omega.

I'm thinking of changing the gun arm to have opening panels like The WFC omega but having a hard time figuring out to do it.

I'm also trying to make the lego add ons, as in no alterations to the original figure (cutting, glueing, sanding etc).

I'm completely happy with the wings and upper torso/backpack in robot mode. Going to make two more sections for more track/road in base mode.

Will post pictures of the updated lower legs soon.

Has anyone else used lego to upgrade city bots before?

Any chance you could make a set of instructions once you're done? I'd love to try to make one for myself.

i dunno, its one of those things that i started, but kind of finished itself via trial and error.

all i can say is it uses a lot of those technic parts, unique elements and many flat angular panels.
