It's a pre-mold for the 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' car.

True. I'll wait for Target to carry it and get that sweet 5% off.

Very nice, I'm probably going to get him as someone who is both a die-hard LEGO fan and a Transformers fan.

I'm a sucker for Legos & Transformers so you'd think I'd be all in on this, but I dunno... Neither mode really looks all that great. Fortunately this will be fairly easy to get imo, so I'm gonna wait for reviews.

Not horrible, but the home made one earlier in the thread is better as I expected. But partsforming? Instant pass. Lame. Plenty of room where his ass should be to fold that front windshield around, or just leave it where it is and make him the little chubber he is.

Maybe if I see someone able to mod it with knees, ankle tilts and no partsforming, I would bite. No ankle tilt might be worse than no knees, this thing is going to topple off shelves left and right.

The alt mode is actually more disappointing than the bot mode lol. Guess my expectations were too high after how good Prime looked.

I refuse to believe the black midsection was so crucial to the color palette that this needed parts forming.

Bumblebee is a victim of being scaled to Prime. Lego bricks remain the same size, so that's a major constraint.

Okay, head looks drastically better than the low quality shot we previously had. And while I\'m not sure I like the lack of knee articulation, on the other hand it\'s one less failure point for him suddenly toppling backwards and falling to pieces, so...

Pretty good chance I grab him for my cousin\'s kid to go with the KO Prime I previously got him depending on the price.

Oof. The parts forming windows are really bad. I don’t think they should’ve done Bumblebee as the second Lego transformer, it’s such a tough one to pull off. They probably should’ve done Grimlock or Soundwave next. As it is, this looks like a poor design.

Yup its a swiss fighter plane and lego then released it, proving that they can release war themed vehicles

Get the dud out of the way. The next ones will hopefully look way better. Soundwave for example would be very hard to screw up since he's basically a walking brick. Really hoping he's the next one.

Yeah, that’s kind of what I mean. Soundwave is just a rectangle. Grimlock turns into a robot dinosaur. The problems with Bumblebee are that he is a minibot, so already there is the size problem. The original toy turned into a super deformed Volkswagen. So the question is you do a super deformed Volkswagen or a regular Volkswagen? And of course there’s the licensing issue. On top of all of that, Transforming it into a robot mode without weird proportions means you have a lot more moving parts than the G1 toy. I sympathize with the designer here, they probably couldn’t do an entirely self-contained transformer that was stable. All the more reason to do a different character. But on the other hand I get it, Bumblebee has become the second most recognizable Transformers character. For better or worse. Ultimately, I don’t think I would be quite as salty about this if it were lower priced. But at $90, that is a lot to ask for a transformer where you have to pop off the windows and stick them on the back of the robot mode. It’s starting to feel a little bit like a Build To Rule figure.

The Pilatus P-2 is not a fighter plane.

    It's for flight training.

They were used by the Swiss Air Force for flight training and, since they were benign enough, after the war were sold to civilians.
