Brothers Brick posted an article about Alan Yap’s custom alternate build of Lego 70842 Emmet’s Triple Decker Couch Mech. Alan used only the pieces in this set to make a Lego Perceptor that transforms. Instructions are free. But the instructions for the head weren’t there. Alanyuppie's LEGO Transformers: Instructions for LEGO Transformer Microscope from set 70842: Emmet's Couch Mech! As I said there were no instructions on how to build the head so take a look at these pictures below from Alan Yap. I couldn’t figure out how to make the shoulder cannon pose like this. So Alan Yap took a photo of the back. See picture below.
I admit that is pretty cool, even if it takes a bit of squinting to see it in robot mode. The scope mode is spot on though.
That makes me wonder why all those posts for non-Transformers, KO or 3P Transformers related products get to stay.
Can you give examples? The main review thread is for write-ups and pictures of official figures. If something not official is posted, it usually gets moved to the appropriate section. With this being a Lego build, it makes it more of an unlicensed creative endeavor.
Go-Bots, Unrustable Bastards, that wacky toilette bot? I always found it odd that people can post completely un-Transformer-related things. My opinion was not popular about that either.
Even if those were posted in the official product review area, they either got moved, locked or deleted. The review section doesn't have an official assigned moderator, so if something slipped by then it's because it wasn't reported or seen.
