or Airachnid. When she's between her bot and copter mode that's the sweet spot.

It's not the strongest argument against the idea, but I wouldn't say it's in favor of it. You could claim they're the same company despite the aesthetic differences, but not because of them.
It's all speculation until IF starts making more reveals, but I feel like it's all a bit clumsy for this to be a rebranding.

For what it’s worth, even if this is IF trying something new with a new brand, I dunno that we’ll ever find out.

But, I still think this is at least not the exact same people behind IR, though it’s possible there might be some overlap.

Yeah, there’s some monks in the mix.

I think the fact Iron Factory has shown off several new products since these were announced seals the deal they're not the same company.

Where are these damn things, dammit?

Well, some figures from the Iron Samurai line (and Soundwave/SG Jetfire) were revealed a few years before they finally released, so the same might unfortunately be for these two beauts.

So long as they ACTUALLY happen, I can wait. Although I don't want to.

There’s no new news to update on but I found an old photo where Rampage can be seen in the top right corner.

Posted by A17 on Weibo 12/31/21:

    Theory time:

This is the same display piece that the prototypes of Rampage and Depthcharge were officially displayed on by Iron Romance leading me to believe that A17 is associated with them to some degree.

I am still of the belief that it’s no coincidence that the two figures are denoted as 60 and 61 while Iron Factory has announced two years worth of figures while skipping both EX-60 and EX-61. Iron Factory still has to release two figures from their 2021 line up and the entirety of their 2022 lineup. Rampage and Depthcharge were initially slated for release in the spring of 2022 so if Iron Romance is in fact Iron Factory, these two should still eventually see release but are delayed along with the rest of their ‘22 figures.

Seeing your post is actually what prompted me to dig through A17's weibo in the hopes of finding more photos or information of the pair. Unfortunately, I only found the glimpse I posted. I did get to see a lot of cool customs though. :lol

it's disappointing that there's been absolute radio silence from the company for so long on this pair, yet i stumbled across what appears to be completed production quality bots in A17 thread almost half a year ago. :(

I’m convinced these were just one-off customs from Iron Factory. Still, one can dream.
