So beteen this Lioconvoy, and ehobby's Convobat (and mp Primal) we have 2 of the 3 Beast Convoys.

I was actually expecting Victory Leo, as well. I suppose Takara could remold Overlord/Sky Shadow into Star Saber (perhaps swap the tank for another jet), and then remold Alpha Trion/Leo Convoy (eliminate the 'organic' parts in favour of more mechanical-looking ones) into Victory Leo.

 

They'll remold him from Titans Return Shuffler.

 

Damn, I wanted an updated Ligerjack. Oh well, this is nice too, but I think I'll stick with Alpha Trion.

 

I want this more than AT.

 

It's the more preorders to come that interest me. We've seen pretty much everyone up to Hasbro Wave 2, so whatever Takara tackle next could include Wave 3 stuff. I'm very eager to see how they approach Hot Rod, Sixshot and Getaway!

 

Glad I skipped wave 2 of Titans Return in terms of Voyagers. I didn't want Astrotrain and I was on the fence about A3. Thankfully Takara's come out with a deco I actually like, and one that makes the mould look good. Fat with purple looks odd, but fat with white looks better. No clue why.

 

That idea works pretty well, maybe toss in titanmaster Brawn's jeep as a nod to Overhaul

Except for the fact that it was indeed designed to be alpha trion, thanks to the artwork that existed prior to the toy we know that. Also he homages both potential wreckers era alpha trions we almost got in that they were lions (yes, alpha trion was first a lion back in 2001) and also homages the vector prime repaint that was another botcon alpha trion
