Okay, it's time to post this. Been working on and off on it for what feels like ages. Had a medical issue that put a lot of stuff on hold, but now that that is over, this could be finished. This of course started out as PotP Slash. Great figure in her own right, but in my long term quest to make the Beast Wars cast in Legends/Legion scale, she was perfect for Dinobot. Work done includes: -Resculpted pretty much all surface detail, adding scale/skin texturing. -New head. -New scratch built tail that forms a shield. -Hand-carved sword -Dino feet/bot hands made from... ...wait for it... Head Masters! Here's the end result of a LOT of work:
How, you ask? I have no freaking clue. This stuff just appears on my workbench on occasion, usually after ingesting copious amounts of coffee and Orios.

Impressive! He looks great in both modes! Impressive molding for the skin texture and robot details! I'm currently working on a movieverse version of Slash from the POTP Slash. I hope it can turn out as good as this!
That's awesome dude! Also, glad that you are done dealing with a medical issue. Looks amazing, as do the other customs of yours. That's actually a cool little project you have there. Are you planning on getting most of the cast in legend scale?
That's the plan It's going to take some time, but it'll happen someday. I already have a Rhinox and Rattrap worked out, then will come Silverbolt and Airazor.
I haven't said it yet, but thanks for all the great comments and likes everyone! This figure, as well as the project as a whole, is something I really did and am pouring a lot of work into. I'm committed to making a good BW cast in this scale someday, and Dinobot is just the latest to fall into place. I will probably use a few already made figures for a couple of the cast members, but for the most part they will all be customs.
I can't stop looking at these man, you've probably got your own ideas but a heavily modded Clawjaw (basic sized crab from beast wars) might make a good Rampage
Heheh Yeah, that was one of my ideas as well. I was also thinking Razorclaw (the DVD) version could be easily modded.
