Great, now give it to us in his rusty deco from AoE, and I'm in.

If the movie is a huge success then you better believe that they'll eventually make a figure of that design.

Very nice.  It was no surprise WeiJiang made a bigger version of the first toy (thought they grossly overcorrected IMHO), so a dialed back leaderish version is just what the doctor ordered.  I\'m super down with the new gun.  Using him to ship an assessory from the last film felt like a slap to the face.

Or he could just get the WfC one and that IDW-lookin' one and mash them together.

I was on the fence with WeiJiang Prime but this kinda eliminates the need for that.

I know people will jump down my throat but now that I see better pics and comparison picks, I'm totally happy just having the Wei Jiang version. It's actually still one of my favorite figures, and it has far more paint apps and is much larger. Probably has more metal, if you care about that. I am looking forward to seeing actual comparison shots, although I know it matters little since people will still say this one is better because... I don't know, scale or whatever.

Some people will never by unlicensed toys. And I would never begrudge of them of that. Principles are a tricky thing. But yeah, Commander is pretty awesome.

I agree with you and I don't begrudge anyone either, but even if I hated KOs I wouldn't argue how good a KO looks if it looks good. That's a crazy kind of stubborn.

That too but all the same Hasbro pays attention to things that do extremely well and if the Bee movie is a huge hit then it's pretty much a given we'll see that design be made in the SS line in the future.

Evasion Prime gets way more than 90 degrees out of his elbow joints, essentially precluding the need for double-joints.

However, it does look a little bit off when fully straightened due to how the arms form part of his cab windows.

That's honestly the only thing that bothers me about the figure to be honest. I feel there could have been something done but oh well.

I cant picture anyone ever saying THIS is better then Wei Jiang's Evasion mode! :lol  The joints, construction, and materials on that, im sure blow this away. Though i will say that in the video in previous page, Takara's looked pretty damn solid! Not wobbly. And thats why i bought it i figured since iys a Takara Exclusive Takara will build it solidly. AND i collect Optimus Prime's. :D

I hate the movie verse, but this is an interesting comparison.

    Impressive....

I suppose I would have been very happy with a design that was in between these two styles.

    Thanks Travis!

They will probably tout ‘accuracy’ That’s fine- whatever floats their boat.

For me, Commander has yet been beat.

This Prime is really small for a Leader figure, he is even smaller than MP-10 and he is a like an old Leader figure.

The front of the truck doesdnt look good. Man, really wanted to get it but he is not better than the Wei Jiang version.
