Well here I was saying that it was required. So you don't need to have it for the game to run?

I played it at Comic-Con and I do not believe they had the motion plus on the Wiimote.

Thought it was terrible, but maybe it was due to the lack of motion plus. I played through all of Twilight Princess, and do consider myself a Zelda fan, but this one just felt...real bad.

:( . I hope it was just the missing plus. I want this to be good.

I'm guessing it was probably either a normal Wiimote or a really messed up Wii Remote Plus. I didn't have any problems when playing the demo at Nintendo World, and the same goes for all the people I've spoken with who have played the demo at other events.

Yeah, me too because every review I've read so far says this has the best 1:1 sword fighting the Wii has done so far.

The true form of the Imprisoned. Interesting.

I don't get how that could work. I don't think the game even let's you play without the add-on. Actually...you were at Comic-Con? There's a lot of wireless devices there so it could have been goofing up the signal. Something like that happened when the game was first unveiled at E3.

I am really looking forward to this game, but the mediocre gamer in me is not looking forward to the 1:1 sword swinging.

Oh well, thats the only thing I am not looking forward to, so this game should still be a blast :p

Man, I wanted to pre-order it today, and now I'm torn! I will get the pack with the wiimote for sure, but there's the pre-order with the regular game that come with a steel case, and I love me some steel case! I'm a bit of a sucker for collector stuff like that too, and now I can't decide what to do! I'm tempted to order both, but jeez, that's an 50$ steel case if I do it :lol

Sell the game that comes with the wiimote. Drop the price below the MSRP a bit to sell it fast.

As someone else said, I think it's probably signal interference or some other issue with the sensor at the showfloor. Or the remote you were using was low on battery. What specific issues did you have?

Everyone else who has played this game has had favourable impressions with the controls.

Read the decription. It's free if you're ordering the actual game. There is no price for the case. I'd love to get it but I already pre-orered at Gamestop and I'm not getting this game without the bundle, which is not available currently at FS.

I did read the description, it says free with the game but also has a $99.99 price tag, and also that its not for sale, so it's not exactly crystal-clear. I assumed it was $99.99 for the game and case together.

That's a sexy Steelbook case, but I've already got it preordered at EBGames for the Wiimote+, not to mention you get a discount on the guidebook there if you buy it with the game.
