Also, a new vid. Might be a bit spoilerish.
Yup I am ready, we got a wii recently, and I haven't really used it much yet, maybe when the semester is over I can catch up on the GC and wii zelda and metroid games I missed, but this will be the first gleefully anticipated new release I will have bought in a long time.

Also a pretty interesting interview w/ Miyamoto.

First review just rolled in. A 10/10 from edge. Also a few new scenes, with spoilers.

Also Official Nintendo Magazine gave it a 98%, which is the highest score they've given a Wii game, as well as calling it the best Zelda game of all time.
On another note there's a new trailer showing off the musical item of the game.
Be warned that the trailer contain cutscenes from later in the game so spoilers ahoy:
Here's the trailer.
Sweet Jebas I'm so stoked for this game.
Also, just listened to that love theme. I cried.
Knew about that one, but a review from Edge is far, far more credible than one by Nintendo magazine.
Definitely, but it's more the fact that they rated it higher than both Galaxy games that startled me a bit.
Trailer for the Lyre. Don't watch if you don't want serious endgame type spoilers!

Going to a Zelda event next week where they'll have this playable. Cannot wait to give it a try
Already posted it last page:
Also it's definitely not really late in the game. It's definitely later than most footage we've seen, but considering Link still has the Goddess Sword and isn't carrying the Hylian Shield, I'd guess it's still somewhere before the halfway point.
Also I'm hoping you enjoy the demo Takara destron. I played it at Nintendo World last weekend and was really wowed by how it played. I'm definitely gonna have trouble going back to previous 3D Zelda games once I'm through with Skyward Sword.
A French website has supposedly revealed another temple in Skyward Sword- the temple of time. It may be related to the gear setting seen in the Harp/Lyre trailer. Still a rumor right now though, although I think it seems pretty reasonable, considering this game is supposed to deal with the forging of the Master Sword. I would honestly love it if, after the final boss battle, you had to go back to the Temple of Time, hold the Wiimote upside down (as if you were holding the sword upside down), and thrust it down as if you were putting the sword in the pedestal, leaving it to wait for the Hero of Time when Ganondorf threatens Hyrule in the future. That's just my wish though.
So tempted to read spoilers, but I think it's about that time that I stay away from gaming sites for the next month or so. I really want to enjoy this game and thusly not be spoiled.
That would make a lot of sense actually.
The trailer seems to show the Temple of Time in the sky, but from the EDGE review there is a major plot event where the sky and land merge, or swap places somehow. The Temple of Time may not make it back into the sky, and eventually Hyrule castle is built around it.
Also, is anyone else wondering is the Lyre is
the Harp of Ages
Also, while I'll always be a massive fan of the Zelda series, I'll be happy if the next major console release skips the magic musical instrument. It's like every piece in that universe does something.
"Hey, where did Jim go, I haven't seen him in days?"
"Oh you didn't hear? He bought a bassoon and it sent him into space. We haven't seen him since."
Kind of funny your say that since the last home console Zelda game didn't have a musical instrument.
Anyway I'll just drop this here (some spoilers obviously)...

We got something worse, the wolf howl. At least the instruments sounded nice.
