I got him for 20 bucks on ebay, and he wa worth it. He is awesome, only problem is my Scavenger is missing the white stripes on the side, oh well. Didnt even realize it was like that in the picture.

...actually he has no Decepticon logos either. Damn, I just bought a KO. Thank god it's good quality (except Scaenger's head is loose, but I can fix that.)

I bought a Legend springer for $1.24 at Target while its 75% off..

Indeed... after reviewing all the pictures... I wouldn't want to pay $32 on it , too.
    Limited articulation really sucks...

i bet Hasbro 'd release that in future...

Got him from a fellow member a couple of week ago. He is an awsome figure. I play with him everyday.

    Curses! Foiled again!

So, after being dismayed at their being no walmart near me to be able to get this. Then asking a friend in Flordia to find one for me, which he did, that made me ecstatic and finally gettoing it today! I open the box, the box is great. I take him out of the box and then...

Scavenger's left arm came off....at the rotation joint due to bad plastic.

Hopefully,my friend will be able to krazy glue it back on without losing the rotation of it.

At least, I hope so anyway. Other then that he seems like a pretty great toy all around. Definably like Peaugh's description of "travel sized Devy" since it fits so well.

It took a store exclusive just to get the movie-colored one out (durn WalMarts near me don't even have it yet...), I somehow doubt Hasbro would have a way to sell a repaint of it within the next two years. I think I'm just going to get the Takara G1 color set from BBTS.

Moving on, here are the pictures I promised! Not great as I have been very busy but here they are!

    Devs regular front...

    ...and side!

So first, rotate the arms at the joint where the shovel connects to Scavenger's body, as seen here.

Then rotate both legs at the pegs connecting onto Overload's feet.

    Resulting in a gorilla stance.

Keep the thread on topic and knock off the bickering. I've done some cleaning and that's the only cleaning here I want to do, so this is the one warning I am leaving.

Infractions and thread bannings come next.

Well, my opinion of this set has changed quite a bit since first impressions...As a group of Legends toys, it's worth the price of admission, but as Devastator, it just plain sucks. If they hadn't limited themselves to making every toy the same basic size, this could have been a home run but as it stands, the proportions on Devastator are all wrong.

I like the individual toys with the exceptions of Rampage (not even close!), Mixmaster (looks goofy as hell), and Hightower (if that's seriously how his robot mode is supposed to look, then it's a good thing he never got bigger than a Legend). Overload is the star of the set, no contest.

I jsut picked up the set myself, and I love it. As would be expected, some individual bots are better than others, but as a set they are awesome! I'm just glad to have a true Devastator set, rather than individual Constructacons (which don't combine) and a Devastator that devides into vehicles, but not robots.

Got Legends Devy last night and so far loving him!

    Does he come with instructions?

I tried every way to open the bottom of the box without damaging it looking for instructions.

    Some help would be appreciated!

The instructions are in the little bottom box/stand thing. It does open, however, at least on mine, it ripped a little. It's not noticable, but I would say skip getting the instructions out if you don't want to damage the packaging at all. They're pretty intuitive transformations, and if you need help, I'm sure I or others would be willing to help here. Have fun with them though!

Got around to opening this little bugger tonight. I'm surprised by how much I like him. While the combined mode is a bit lacking, the individual Constructicons are fucking awesome.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but can't find a definite answer anywhere. I've got the Wal-mart Devy, but not the Japanese EZ one. Are there any differences between the two, even minor ones?

There are none that I am aware of, shibamura. I don't have the EZ version but from everything I have seen, these are the same right down to the paint. Only difference is these come in a set.
