Theres alot “more then meets the eye” for this featured Legacy powerhouse, can I get a warm welcome for this Voyager class Armada Starscreeeaaamm!

It feels good to be able to dive into the Armada series! As most of you realize, this is truly what Legacy is all about, celebrating the rich history of the almost 40 year old brand. All these different styled characters being brought in from different portals to meet in this Legacy multiverse to have updated articulation and style to fit in with your current stellar collection but also bring a little new flare to each bot! Woohoo! This guy is looking hot and spicy!

I mean, after the last Armada SS Gen Dlx thrilling 30 toy, it seemed like it couldn’t get any better. But,Takara does it again, Ittoku Kuwazu absolutely did a fantastic job with this beauty!

As I have stated in a past livestream, we did strip those red ops off of the wing sword and in production it will be the same molded grey tone as seen here on his wings. I figured the almighty Star Saber sword would ultimately be his energon infused weapon, considering how epic it is!

Articulation is on point for this dude! Swipe on to see the pose out fun I had with this awesome figure. The fact that the two shoulder cannons have so much versatility and blast effect compatibility, it just provides so much playtime fun its tremendous!

For those of you that were wondering, if you want to collect two swords you could untab the underarms in jetmode and place the swords as extensions to the wings.

Also to note, his great facesculpt features a grey tone deco op to differentiate his look from your usual silver. I hope you dig this delicious decepticon!

The sword storage is cooler than expected.

Legit my most anticipated from wave 3, I think he looks great.

The sword storage would be a lot cooler if it was the initially intended red. That’s annoying imo. But other than that he looks good.

I really REALLY want a heavy remold into orange Jhiaxus like the Deluxe version did!

That being said, this guy looks amazing, and I can't wait to see a video review for him.

Still love the overall design, he looks so dynamic in robot mode. Just still unreasonably bothered by the opaque, panel-lined cockpit. I'd definitely buy a Universe Ramjet form this mold if they could make the cockpit clear (and will probably be at least moderately tempted even though I'm sure they won't), and I'd love to see the engineering reused for a Jetfire.

 

Absolutely LOVE the fact that he doesn't have hollow forearms.

 

That along with he’s got downward hand joints for sword poses.

 

Nice this is probably one of my most wanted figures for this year.

 

Yeah this figure looks great. Totally gonna get it.

 

Seeing the pegholes on the arms gives me hope either via 3p or some official shenanigans that we can get insertable minicon pegs.
He looks pretty good; visually I still don't know if I like this more than the T30 figure (the paint job is a contributor to that). I am glad he's well articulated; still looking forward to it just cuz of what character it is. Hope we get all of the redecoes out of him that the original had down to Ramjet and even the Energon one.
For clarification though is he coming with one or two of his non star saber sword? (is there gonna be both a red one and a grey one or just a grey one?)

 

I wish he did come with a second wing sword instead of the Star Saber (Siege Air Patrol sword is pretty close to the Star Saber). I hope the repaint/remolds aren't just Thundercracker & Skywarp though. Make them more obscure guys like Acid or Sun Storm, even though I expect the Armada Skywarp remolding to happen for this mold.
