unfortunately nope , my copy of Optimus is elephant glued shut it seems . o_O o_O  . So I just wrapped his torso up , and masked for stripes as much as possible. Though I could’ve knocked the pin at the base of his neck for an easier time tbh. IMG_1978.jpeg IMG_1977.jpeg

It is weird to open bee at the same time as two cores and see how the size differential is not far off 20231219_213002.jpg Energon Megatron really channels the original toy...had some issues aligning the panels on Kid's head so it didn't look like he had a craniotomy 20231219_221453.jpg

funny how those rockets Bee used in...one episode I think? have become the de-facto accessory that has to come with every iteration of him...

Oh boy I’m getting my shipment of figures in shortly. Here’s hoping they’re as good as they look.

Is anybody elise’s Bee kinda off? With mine the waist rotation and ankle tilt really hitch-to the point I’m wondering if parts will grind down… They ankles are loose when “locked”. The arms don’t swing in for transformation very well, leaving gaps. The feet fenders also leave a gap. His box was squished pretty badly. While I didn’t see any visible damage, I’m wondering if some alignments got messed up…

And these two arrived from Amazon even earlier than other toys that I ordered before from the same site which don't arrive yet. I don't know how that even works but I'm not complaining.

Legacy Animated Bumblebee is here and he is... tiny.

The vehicle mode is fine and it does resemble better how he looked in the show than Legacy Animated Prowl's vehicle mode but I have to wonder, why did he need that much clear plastic? It makes some of the parts look out of place and the transformation between both modes a high risk (particularly because some of the moving pieces are a bit too tight). If there is a positive here though, is that the little car rolls like a dream, something you can't say too often nowadays.

And the robot mode is cute. He has great articulation and fitting accessories for him. However, I don't think the accessories and the extra parts are enough to compensate for how little the figure is, I feel like at least WFC Bumblebee and Origins Bumblebee had more stuff to justify their price.

I don't regret getting Legacy Animated Bumblebee but I feel like the value is not really there. I still want to see this repainted into both Glyph and Bumper though (and hopefully they will come with extra stuff to make them worth the purchase).

Now let's talk about the star of the first wave of Deluxes from Legacy United...

Windblade is apparently not an easy design to pull-off since they have tried to do it several times in the past and none of them have been quite right, particularly in vehicle mode since a lot of the robot parts were very visible. However, Legacy Cyberverse Windblade is the best we have gotten yet, sure is not perfect but it does hide the bot bits much better than previous attempts and there's more stuff than you would expect from a modern Deluxe jet Transformer like a landing gear while the sword being used as a flame effect for the thrusters is a brilliant idea.

Robot mode impresses even more since it can do stuff that previous Windblade toys can't even dream of, the articulation is amazing and the accessories are solid overall. Not to mention that the transformation process is simple yet effective, again, much better than old figures of her.

And here she is with Legacy Cyberverse Shadow Striker, I like the latter fine enough but there's no doubt that Legacy Cyberverse Windblade is the more accurate representation, plus she can even pass as a Generations Windblade because of the Evergreen design. If there's a complaint here is that I wish they would have found a way to put the T30 scabbard on her thighs like in that toy since I found that sword more fitting for her but that's not enough to ruin a great figure.

Yes, Legacy Cyberverse Windblade is the best Fembot since Legacy Prime Arcee. I just can't wait for more reuses of this mould, bring Slipstream, Anode, Maxima and maybe even Nautica already!

Bee is growing on me. The waist swivel pops worryingly… Kinda cool they were paired together like Cyberverse!
